Ochako P.O.V.

Despite the events that happened on Wednesday night, mister Aizawa told us that we only had yesterday off, and that today we would be back in class regardless of the situation. He had told us that Deku showed a lot of brain activity sometime yesterday and that he would either wake up this evening of tomorrow morning, when we could actually visit him during the weekends. I wasn't on my best mood, nobody really was, with the ones he mentioned in the letter personally on their worst moods that we've ever seen. Even Kirishima, who was trying to be as positive by saying that we would see him on Saturday and both him and we had a second chance at this, but he was really just trying his best to tell himself that everything would be alright. Bakugo was the most impressive change out of everyone, because not only was he sporting heavier eyebags than the rest of the class, he just seemed so out of it and generally distracted, probably thinking about Deku too, considering he knew him since they were children according to Deku in the few stories he's told us. There was also something very clear, the lack of his presence affected everyone in more than just an emotional way.

Of course that it had started back a few months back, but when classmates had organization, costume, quirk or hero history questions, it was always Deku who would be asked to help or even sometimes step up to the challenge himself with sparkling excitement in his eyes. Something I missed dearly for a long time. It was no secret that I had cried myself to sleep last night, and some people just had to pass out from exhaustion to get a few hours of shut eye, but the normal conversations or just his overall excitement that he showed day in and day out here at U.A. was clearly something everyone in class was missing. Even as Todoroki, Tsu and I were making our way to class 1-A, we couldn't help but miss the friendly chatter that we used to have when preparing for a day of school being taught by various heros. Something Deku was extremely happy for constantly. But that happiness had vanished long ago, and even if we were walking in complete and solemn silence, we had all clearly agreed on bringing back the heroic, bone breaking and complete fanboy that we all got to know and love, especially me.

Third person P.O.V.

It was just a strange sight for Aizawa. Having all of his classmates look quite depressed and having one seat empty was just one of his worst nightmares come to life, no matter the reason for the missing student. He had also felt extremely guilty just as the rest of his class had, so he decided to call in a favour from teacher that attended Shiketsu High who also happened to be qualified to act as a therapist and was constantly bothering him if the possibility arised. Moreover, he knew the problem child would appreciate a pro hero to be his therapist, especially one who wasn't as intense as Hound Dog. Still, he had to make a statement to his class, regardless the current situation that he couldn't wait to be over. "Time is precious and we can't afford to just lose class time. I understand the severity of the situation, but we also can't get stuck. I know that the problem child is going to be held back, but he is one of the better students so I trust him with that. Now, any questions before we begin?" And to his surprise, it was Todoroki who decided to raise his hand, rather than Uraraka or Iida like he suspected.

"Yes Todoroki?" and although what he asked next caught him off guard, he had a feeling that this would happen. "What now?" with a long sigh and understanding the true intentions of his question, he decided to answer as best as possible before starting the first period and letting Ectoplasm teach math. "We make the best out of the time we have until tomorrow and then we make sure nothing like this ever happens again." and as simple as that, he let the classes begin, making sure to add a small amount of fuel to the fiery determination that his students held for the wellbeing of their classmate. Although slow and sluggish, the teaching day had come and gone and it was now the waiting game for both class 1-A, Aizawa and Inko Midoriya. They had yet to tell All Might about the situation, something that the homeless looking hero had talked about with the principal, but knew that he had to make the call today and be as clear as possible that the situation has been contained. He didn't know the deep bond of One For All between the student and the hero, but he understood the connection these two had.

After a long time staring at the phone, and hoping that the retired blond would pick up, he mustered the courage to break the depressing news to All Might, even if he was sure he would hear him shout so loud that his eardrums would rupture. Making sure that the time difference worked for both him and All Might, he picked up the phone, dialed the number, and sat waiting after three rings until he picked up. "Aizawa, what's the matter? You wouldn't call for something that isn't important." "Look All Might, something happened with Izuku Midoriya. He is in a stable condition in the hospital and he'll wake up tomorrow so you can stay at I-island for as long as you need." "What happened with Young Midoriya? You sound almost fearful." "...... He cut himself, as in self harm, with the intentions to take his own life. Now, I'll say this aga-" "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" "Look All Might I told everything is alright and getting better. You can talk to him once you are back. We'll make sure that everything is back to normal." "What the hell happened while I was gone?"

Okay so maybe double chapter maybe not I'll see. I'm tired, tomorrow is for family and friends and I already have chapter 41 in draft form but I'm not sure I like it so we'll see. If I don't post it today, the 26th will be the day for it and chapter 42. Anyways, remember that you are all amazing and that you are cared for and loved. I hope you had or have a magnificent day and I'll be back in a few days. Happy holidays! :)
