okay so this is a rough draft so here we go
-GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM-
"stop it fred i swear to godric i will hex you into oblivion!" kristen whacked the red-headed boy with a spare pillow she found on the armchair next to her, and he dramatically rolled off of the couch and hit the coffee table with a "whack". another girl with flaming red hair snorted without looking up from her schoolwork, and a boy sitting in the corner laughed, along with a girl who had extremely bushy hair and yet another boy with hair the color of a carrot.
"my apologies, o fair lady, for i am the most sorry." he was shaking with laughter at this point and his twin, by the looks of it, thought it was hilarious. kristen stood up and kicked him.
"get up you idiot, and help me with my charms homework." he gave her a blank stare and she pushed the parchment piece towards him. he slid it back to her, earning a slap in the face. "i know you know how to do this, all with your skiving snackboxes and stuff like that. there's loads of charms work put into those, but of course you can't help me now, can you." kristen liked to purposefully make scenes in front of the entire common room, and unfortunately, fred did too. most gryffindors do. they're very loud, but that's how they like it. for any of those with situations strange enough to have been to the slytherin's common room, they did not like it. they would say that it's too quiet, and you feel uncomfortable there. similarly, the slytherins with lives unique enough to have been inside the gryffindor common room say that it's way too loud and that you feel uncomfortable being in such a loud atmosphere.
"oh, well you should have told me it was just practing charms! i can help you with that, don't fret, my darling," fred replied confidently. lee jordan poorly disguised a laugh with a cough from the other side of the room, where him and fred's twin, george, were talking in low voices at a table. they did that a lot those days, and it concerned everyone, seeing that it's never good when fred or george weasley is quiet.
kristen, to everyone's suprise, went a little pink before kicking him under the table and announcing that she, in fact, was NOT fred weasley's "darling" and would never be. she, unlike most of those in the common room, did not notice how fred's shoulders slumped slightly when she said this. one of the people who did notice this was anna black, whose eyes narrowed at the tall, dark haired girl in front of her. she quickly scribbled a note and charmed it to fly over to kristen. she read the note, mumbling what it said as she read it. "i'm in your dorm. come up when you're done with tweedle dee over there." she looked up to see anna heaving herself up the stairs to the gryffindor girl's dorm. you might be wondering why anna wrote that she was going to be in kristen's dorm room, but not hers. that would be because anna black is in slytherin, unlike most of her friends. there's more to that entire story, but we won't go into that today.
after a painfully long half hour of kristen insulting fred, and fred smiling idiotically when she did, kristen trudged up the staircase and into her room. she found anna lying on her bed, a book propped up on the headboard. as soon as the door slammed shut and kristen leaned up against the wall, trying to hide her smile, anna pounced. "KRISTEN NICOLE ROE! WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?" kristen obviously knew what she was referring to, because she walked right past anna and into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
"i have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, black. i'm perfect, what's wrong with you?" her voice was muffled through the door, and she sounded like a child in trouble with a far-too-innocent tone of voice. anna put her hands on her hips, drew her wand and whispered, "alohomora". the door swung open and kristen stumbled into the wall. anna pointed at her, and suddenly her normally serious face broke into a wide smile."you, my dear, like frederick weaselbee." she giggled hysterically and fell to the floor, still laughing, when kristen whacked her with her book of charms. her face was looking particularly like all the weasley's hair when she replied, "i do not! and his name is fred." right after she uttered these words, she realized she'd messed up. correcting his name in front of her best friend, now that was a bad idea.
"okay, maybe i do. SHUT UP I WILL LITERALLY KILL YOU ANNA CRESSIDA."
"wow, and i'm supposed to be the mean one."
"i'm warning you."
"it'd be a shame if someone were to set you two up on a, let's say, a date, wouldn't it?"
"watch it, you're treading on thin ice there, black."
"oops, sorry, roe-wait, is it weasley now? OUCH! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?"
"i warned you."
"she did warn you, you know, black. so, roe, you fancy a weasley, do you? which one, pray tell."
"uhhhhh, anna here, she was just fooling around, you see. she wasn't being serious."
"oh, but i think she was, you see. now, tell me, which of my brothers-or sisters, i won't judge, has caught your eye?"
"GEORGE! HOW THE BLOODY HELL DID YOU GET UP THERE?" at that moment, fred weasley came flying through the door and crashed into kristen, knocking her over, and falling on top of her. she blushed furiously, and george shot an inquiring look at anna. she nodded slightly, then gave him a look that clearly stated, "if you let a word of this be shared to anyone, i will kill you."
meanwhile, fred and kristen were quite in a tizzy, with fred's knee literally lodged in her side, and her leg through a door. "call madam pomfrey. we've got a case of the lovebugs," george's voice drawled as he strolled towards the door. anna pulled out her wand and conjured a rock, then proceeding to fling it at george's head.
"unfortunately, someone has also tested positive for idiot. to the hospital wing!"
