Cora's POV
The blunt force of the car smashed into me, and I was crushed under the weight of the truck, and it fucking hurt. Blood was streaming down my face, and I heard the screaming of every bystander. That was that last sound I heard before I blacked out, and died. This, of course, was normal, probably to normal for some people, but to me, this was basically routine.

Quickly throwing my covers off of me, I get out of bed with my Ra-Ra still in hands. Why is it at least 5 deaths a month are when I'm walking to school?! It doesn't matter anyways, as I get the knife from under my tattered matress, I carve a sideways line into the wall under my bed. At least now I know the number of times I've died is a multiple of 5, I guess... I better get ready for school, hope I don't die again on my way there, I quickly get dressed in my usual outfit for February, check on Kami, who is home, sick, I hope the Callows at least try to help her. Grabbing my bag, I slowly head out for school, good thing it's already Friday, I'll have more time with Kami..
