I wake up around 2pm to see my roommate and forever best friend, Malcolm.
"Good morning, beautiful." he says with a playful smirk.
"Good morning Lilly." I respond in a mocking tone.
I watch as his smile disappears and turns into a scowl. God,I loved making him mad.
"Don't play with me."
"I don't know what you mean,Lilly." I shrug
"That's it." he comes to grab me causing me to sprint to the nearest room,the kitchen.
I ran in Knocking down pots and pans in the process. I turn towards the counter but stop when I see him inches away from me. Backing up, I grab some flour off the tabe from last night's dinner.
"If you come any closer I'm gonna ruin your clothes"I started sprinkling the powder in my hand.
"That is a risk I'm willing to take" he had a devilish smile.
Every time he makes a step forward I make one backwards. After awhile I slow down my pace, I shouldn't have.
He jumps forward,catching me off guard and causing me to throw the bag of flour at him. It covers most of his clothing making it hard for me to cover up my laughter.
He looks serious but once he sees me laughing he joins in. We stand there laughing like fools until we're both out of breath.
Once I regain my breath I speak "Have I told you your my best friend"
"Still" He smiles a boyish grin
"Forever and always" I laugh enjoying our time together

After that little"kitchen incident" I head to the living room, leaving Malcom to finish picking up the mess.
I grab the remote scrolling through things to watch until I find the kids channel and smile once I realize spongebob is on,I may be an adult but I will never stop loving this childlike show. After about 30 minutes of me watching it the episode goes off, hopefully so another one can come on and Malcom walks in.
He looks out of breath and is wearing a new shirt. He looked like he was going to talk but stoped mid-sentence after seeing what I was looking at on the screen.
"YOU WATCHED SPONGEBOB WITHOUT ME."
I jumped back at his sudden out bust. After my heart stopped pounding I was finally able to speak again,"You were taking too long and plus there's another episode coming on see," I point to the screen that was now playing the spongebob theme song" now sit your crazy ass down and stop screaming."
He chuckles and settles down in the seat next to me.
We spend the whole day chilling and watching movies until we both eventually fall asleep.
