Nathan rose from his chair and ushered Gabriel into the room.
'Gabriel, my good friend' said Nathan
'It's good to see you Nathan' said Gabriel as they shook hands.
Xavier stayed in his seat.
'What happened?' his tone blunt.
Nathan showed Gabriel the high back seat and Gabriel sat
'We were attacked on the way to the safe house. They somehow planted a tracking device on Jake, which led them right to us. But the strangest thing of all was that our assailants were Lucifer's personal guard! Since when did he join the masses clambering for Jake?'
Xavier softened a little.
'My dream was correct then' he said.
'What dream?' asked Gabriel
Xavier recounted the dream to Gabriel. Gabriel stood
'We don't have a moment to lose. Jake cannot bow down before Lucifer, or he will be forever tied to him and his bidding'
Nathan headed for the door.
'I'll go and get Drago and Pian. I'm sure they will want to help'
Jinn stood and thrust a hand out to Gabriel.
'I'm Jinn'
Gabriel reciprocated and shook his hand
'I know who you are. The question is how did you get here?'
As Nathan went off, Xavier and Jinn told Gabriel their story.
Half an hour later they were all in the living area. Xavier had returned dressed and was now pacing the floor. Pian and Drago shared a chair together with Drago perched on its arm. Gabriel sat on one of the high back chairs looking at plans of the Citadel that Nathan had provided.
Jinn was crouched next to him indicating the best route in and possible places that Jake could be held if he wasn't in the throne room. Nathan entered the room wearing the distinctive clothing of Lucifer's personal guard, with the cloak over his arm.
'Where did you get that?' asked Xavier.
'It's a long story, one we may have time for when we return with your brother.'
Nathan sat down in the other high backed chair and Gabriel motioned to Xavier to sit. Gabriel began
'Right, we've got an important job to do. Its high risk and it may mean that some of us won't come back. If you want to back out, now is the time.'
Nobody moved, they just looked a Gabriel and waited for him to continue.
'I take it from your lack of response that you're all in. Ok first things first. Xavier you're with me, we're going to the throne room'
Gabriel pointed to it on the plans.
'Drago and Pian, I want you to hold this point here, it's a narrow corridor then it widens out before the throne room doors. Stay there by the doors. No one gets past'
They both nodded in agreement.
'Nathan hopefully that uniform will mean you won't get many questions, so you will guard our exit route here'
Again Gabriel pointed to a place on the plans.
'Jinn, from what you have said there are only two other places they might keep him. I know you don't know this boy, but you know the Drakim and you know the citadel. Can you search this room here using the secret passageway?'
