Im Just a Nerd Chapter 9

I got up at 6 am the next morning to excited to sleep. We would be going to get Bethany today. I got out of bed and went and took a shour and got dressed in a white whirt and jeans. I decided to add a little blush and mascara for a change. After I finished my makeup I headed downstairs to eat. It was still early and I did'nt want to wake everyone else up. I reached the kitchen and was surprised to see Jessica and Kenneth sitting in there talking so I backed out and hid around the corner. 

"We can't let this happen to her Kenneth I love her like she was my own child", I heard Jeccica say. 

"I know Jess but if they get ahold of her they will kill her", Kenneth said. Who could they be talking about? I thought to myslef. I hated to eavesdrop but I was curious.

"Do you think they will come for her soon", Jessica asked worriedly.

"I'm not sure hon but we will have to get some sort of protection to follow her around and with her friend coming today we will have to hide our secret she must not know", Kenneth said. I decided to make myself noticed so I walked in.

"Oh good morning Annabelle did you sleep good?", Jessica asked me as i grabbed a muffin.

"Yes I did but was to exicded about Bethany coming today so I got up early", I told her and she just laughed.

"Oh to be a young girl it sure brings back old memories of me as a girl", she said and Kenneth laughed.

" You sure was a wild one when you were younger", he said and Jessica slapped his arm playfully.

"So Annabelle how about we leave at eight to go get your friend", Kenneth said. 

"That sounds fine", I said.

"Oh and Annabelle dear you must not tell your friend about us being vampires to many people knowing might not be a good thing", Kenneth said.

"Okay I wont tell her anything but what about Jackson and Andy what if they let something slip", I asked. It would probably end up being one of them to they would say something.

"I will talk to both of them before we leave that your friend must remain unaware of what we are and what you are to become", Kenneth said. 

"So is Jackson and Andy coming with us then", I asked hoping they weren't. It's not like I hate them but they tend to get on my nerves at some point.

"Yes they are Jackson told us last night him and Andy would love to be there when we got your friend and visited your mother", Jessica said and i cringed. I most definately did not want to see my mother.

"Okay that's fine I'm gonna go finish getting ready", I told them and went back up to my room. Okay so I lied I was ready but I was mad about having to visit my mom. I know the woman gave me birth but I couldn't stand her most of the time.

I grabbed my ipod and turned it on and laid back on my bed and closed my eyes. I didn't hear the window open or see the person creep in until I felt something hard hit my head and I blacked out. 

I woke up and it was pitch black. My arms and legs were tied to a chair and tape around my mouth. I could feel I knot forming on my head where the kidnappers must of hit me.

"Oh your awake finally about time", I someone snarl. It was a mans voice but I didn't recognize it. I tried to look around the room but it was way to dark.

"Someone turn on the damn lights in here", The voice yelled and a light flickered on. I had to close my eyes it was so bright.

"Open your eyes you little brat", the man said and slapped me across the face. I screamed but it came out as a muffle. "No use in screaming little girl no one can hear you", I heard another voice and it was another man.
