6 - Everyone knows

Wilbur's POV

Fuck.

We have fallen asleep on the vc. In the discord server. For everyone to see.

I know how much shit I'm going to get about this. Honestly, I'm just worried about how they're going to tease Els. What if they make her uncomfortable?

I have 20 pings in the chat. 20.

Oh my god they keep on pinging Els too. We are so fucked.

As I was about to check the chat, I hear Els start to wake up and get nervous.

"Oh my, we've fallen asleep on call together?" Els had said, all groggly from just waking up.

"Haha.. yeah. Last night I had a good time though. It was really nice getting to know you." I had said, in an attempt to kind of stall her so she doesn't look at the server chat..

"Yeah, it was! I enjoyed it as well." She had said. I'm glad she felt the same.

"So um.. the entire server kind of knows we fell asleep together on call." I had said nervously, and a bit awkwardly. 

"Oh? Is that a bad thing?" She had asked.

"No, not necessarily.. I mean. They're just going to tease us about it you know. Unless you think that's a bad thing? I don't know if it's a bad thing." I had kind of just sputtered out without thinking. 

Why do I talk. Why did I keep that sentence going. She's going to think I'm so weird. OF COURSE she's going to think it's a bad thing Wilbur. My god you don't know how to talk to women. 

"Will, It's okay." She said, probably catching on about me being nervous. "I don't mind it, really. Let them have their fun. I see some of them have pinged us a bunch of times in chat?" She said.

"Um, y-yeah." I said stuttering. I have no idea how she's so cool about all of this. Why am I the only embarrassed/awkward one in this situation. "Hey, to avoid this happening again.. Wanna exchange numbers?" I asked. I can't believe I had just done that. I was honestly surprised with myself.

"Actually, yeah. That sounds like a great idea!" She had said happily. 

I was so relieved that she agreed to exchange numbers. Now we can privately talk without having to be put on display for everyone else to see.

"Alright, I think it's time to part Will. Talk to you later?" She asked.

"Definitely. See you!" I had said with enthusiasm. 

Els POV: 

Well, That was an interesting experience. When George said it never gets boring around here, he really didn't lie. I could honestly tell how nervous Wilbur was about all of the teasing stuff. I kind of found it cute. And honestly.. last night was amazing. I loved it. I can't wait to facetime him and do it all over again. 

I need to get on with my day though. I'm probably just going to be doing some errands and chores around my place to waste some time, until I get to talk to Wilbur again later. Or... anyone. Not just Wilbur. I meant just anyone from the SMP in general..
