Chapter 1

Skylar Fuentes. An intelligent, independent, self reliant young lady. The owner of "Absolute Dance Studios" that was first built in Miami, Florida. She's a high income citizen who owns a mansion. "Absolute Dance Studios" is a worldwide corporation. Her being rich would be very obvious. She graduated "Ticsh School of the Arts" in New York. And opened her own dance studio with the help of her savings money and parent, and made it this big by hard work. She loves to dance, and can do all types of it. Hip hop, Ballet, Jazz, Break dance, Acro, Tap, etc. She dances everyday to get over stress, or to make her feel better. It's her life. 

But life-wise, she's a sweet innocent 26 year old. She's hardly dated in her life! Skylar has maybe had 2 boyfriends in her entire life-time. It does seem sad. Skylar has always been insecure about her-self ever since her last boyfriend. Micheal. He told her some very mean and inconsiderate things before they broke up. She swore she would never trust another man again. And that was only a decade ago... and counting. Her friends always convince her to trust again, but it hurts to even think about it. She concentrates on dance most of the time, so she doesn't have to worry about dying alone. 

Finding love has always been a challenge for her and her inner self. You know that little voice you have in your head that tells you right from wrong, or that voice in your head that your using the read this? Yeah, that. Her inner self always froze and didn't know what to say when she saw a guy. Scared she might mess-up and encounter another Micheal. And that's the last thing she wanted. Work, dance and improving her studio was all she had to be focusing on right now. Not men -like Micheal- or guys who only want that thing then look at you like a scum on their shoe. She had everything she ever wanted a beautiful house, Family, friends and a job that involves dance.

Now let's talk about that relationship with Micheal. A big bad stubborn wolf. At least that's what she thought of him after they broke up. He was nice and sweet before you got to know him. Then it gets bad. He didn't want anything to do with Skylar after about 2 months into they're relationship, which ended almost 3 weeks later. She only wanted to kiss her and feel her up and caress her like he cared. But Skylar never let him take away her virginity. She wasn't that stupid. That's how they broke up. She wouldn't give him any, so he got sexually frustrated and started getting mad. Attempting to rape her! But luckily her dad walked in right away. She never seen him after that day her dad almost brutally murdered him.

It's not that her dad never let her date again. She just chose not to. She was smarter than that. He just warned her that her next boyfriend had to be checked out by him. Her dad owned a CIA Cooporation, so he could get the down low on anybody! She was glad she had a father who cared. Her mother was one of the reasons she loved dance so much. She was choreographer as well and had a an absolute passion for dance. So Skylar followed in her footsteps just like she promised she would when her mother died. 

Yes, Skylar's mother died of Pancreatic Cancer when she was 14. It killed her... literally! She  attempted to commit suicide one day when she thought he couldn't take it anymore. But she had a wonderful father and she rest of her family to love her. Even though it wouldn't be the same as a mothers love for her child. She had to deal with it because she had to follow in her mother footsteps to keep the love of dance in her family alive. 

Skylar Fuentes has a talent that is unexplainable. But she had to let the world know she was there and grieving over her mother and worrying about what Micheal had done to her wasn't gonna help her at all. That was all in the past. She had to keep her best foot forward and fulfil her mission on this earth. It's what her mother would have wanted. And even though she's not there physically , she was definitely there in her heart.
