chapter twenty seven.

we looked to Dr Spencer who was now standing at the other end of the church by the doors, I smiled to jack as Dr Spencer gave us a slight nod to let us know we were fine to leave when we wished too. I took my daughters hand, I squeezed it slightly to reassure her, tears began to roll down her cheeks "mummy, why did grandad point that gun to you? doesn't he love you?".

tears began filling my eyes as I looked to my beautiful daughter welling up before my very eyes "no baby, grandad was just playing a little game don't worry". I didn't know what else to tell her because I didn't want her to be afraid, I wanted her, all of us to enjoy this special day.

Jack placed his hand around my lower back as we began to make our way out of the church. Everyone cheered and threw confetti all over us. after an hour of standing having pictures taken, jack, miracle and I got into the Bentley and made our way to the reception which was held at our home.

when we arrived through our house everyone was already there waiting to greet us, they must have left whilst we were having photos taken together, Miracle let go of my hand and ran to Elizabeth who was leaning down with her arms wide open. "my wife and I will be back in just a moment, we have a few things that we need to sort out, please have a glass of champagne whilst we are gone" Jacks voice echoed through the reception area.

Jack took my hand and led me up the stairs to our room, as soon as we got inside he cupped my face "Lily baby are you ok? I'm so sorry I didn't know why it changed, I've heard that when you tempt fate it will automatically change" he said not so sure of himself. I walked over and sat down slowly on the bed as I looked to jack "Miracle is getting her powers very fast, I'm beginning to worry about how she's coping with them all"

"Lily baby Miracle is a smart intelligent young girl, she is stronger than you think, she's a lot like you. she acts on her instincts, if it wasn't for her you would probably be dead" jack replied as tears began to fill his beautiful blue/grey eyes.

so much is going through my head right now I honestly don't know what to think anymore I cannot believe my own father wants me dead after everything has happened. I suddenly began to feel afraid and lost beyond this world I was living in, I don't think I will ever be happy. I love jack and jack loves me so why can't we be left alone. "Jack where is my dad now? can I see him?" I didn't know why I wanted to see him but I did, I know Jack would never allow it but I needed answers that only he could answer.

"Lily are you crazy! no way!" I didn't dare argue with him instead I stood from the bed and placed my arms around his waist "ok sweetie let's go and enjoy what's left of our wedding" Jack smiled and led me back down stairs.

Mr Hansen's pov

after the most beautiful reception dinner Lily and I shared our first dance as husband and wife. I was overjoyed with love and excitement and I couldn't thank anyone other than lily. Lily smiles deeply into my eyes, all I see is her love for me sparkling from her eyes to mine, I could tell that she too felt the same way as I did for her. As our song came to an end it came my time to have my dance with my mother.

"Lily may I?" my mum gestured to Lily, she nodded before kissing me then walking towards Sophia and Miracle. My mother and I were dancing around the floor swaying too and frow. "that was quite a wedding son, I didn't see that coming. Do you think maybe the prince is behind all this" just as my mother was about to say something else I let her go and stopped to a halt "how could I have been so stupid of course that Dick is behind this, I'll kill him!" I mumbled to myself. I hurried over to Lily

"jack sweetie is everything ok?". "it will be baby, I'm so sorry but I need to pop out for an hour, I promise I will be back as soon as can" Lily was about to respond when I quickly kissed her then left as quick as I could "I'm going to rip his head off" I growled beneath my breath as I jumped in my car and head towards the palace.
