IT WAS ANOTHER DAY in her daily life and like as before she is facing her computer's monitor...again. She already past the task that her boss assigned to her a few days ago. It was hard for her to do the task because she have no any idea nor any experience that are related on making a game character.
And everytime that she was entering the way to her office she would always see the big statue of a famous game character. She's sure that those statue cost millions!
She was in the middle of fixing the schedule of her boss, when she heard a voicemail coming from her boss. She press the answer button.
"Miss, Cathy. Can you come over now?" ani ng boss niya.
"I'll be there in a minuite boss...." binitawan niya na ang pagkakapindot at kaagad na tumayo at pumasok sa loob ng opisina.
Pagkapasok niya ay kaagad niyang nakita ang boss niyang nakatingin sa kawalan. She did not even get his attention the moment she enter the office.
She cleared her throat...but still nothing.
She knock the table....but still nothing.
She twisted her middle and thumb finger to make noise on it...but still there is no responce.
Ano ba? Parang tangik!
Huminga siya ng malalim at sumigaw. "Boss!!" sigaw niya.
She know that she startled him because he almost jump off of the swivel chair.
Kaagad siyang ngumiti ng matamis, she smiled like she did not shouted her boss. "Ano pong kailangan niyo?" malambing na sabi niya.
Napahawak naman ito sa sariling dibdib. "Miss Cathy! talaga bang papatayin mo ako sa sobrang gulat?pwede ka namang kumatok bakit kailangan mo pang sumigaw...." anito.
She rolled her eyes. "Boss, I already knock, call you and I even twisted my fingers just to wake you up from a very deep thoughts but you did not came back to yourself. So...I don't have a choice but to shout, hindi naman po siguro tama kung sasampalin ko nalang po kayo, at isa pa mabigat ang kamay ko, baka kasi lumipad ang pisngi mo...." eksplinasyon niya.
"Give me water, Miss Cathy. Para akong natuyuan ng lalamunan dahil sa'yo. WOO!!" Then she keep the genuine smile that plastered on her lips.
Hindi pa niya nakikita ang boss niya na ganun ang reaksyon sa mukha nito. Kaya medyo gusto niyang tumawa na hindi?! Ay ewan!
Kaagad naman siyang kumuha ng tubig mula sa water dispenser sa loob ng opisina nito at kaagad na ibinigay iyon sa boss niya.
Matapos nitong inumin ang tubig tsaka lang siya naglakas loob na tanungin ito. "Bakit niyo po pala ako tinawag?" aniya.
Tumingin naman ito sa kanya. "Sasama ka sa akin sa kasal, okay?" anito.
"P-po?"
"You heard me Miss, Cathy. I don't like repeating myself over and over again....." sungit.
"Sige po....wala na po ba kayong ibang kailangan?" aniya.
He shook his head. Kaagad naman siyang lumabas ng opisina nito at dumiretso sa table niya. Bumalik siya sa kanyang trabaho at bahagya siyang tumigil ng marinig na nag-ring ang cellphone niya.
Kaagad niya namang tiningnan kung sino ang tumatawag.
Unknown caller.....
Kaya kunot-nuo niya itong sinagot.
