Darren

Being me, women come and go.

I have the look, the body and the money.

I can pick who I want and I usually sleep with them not more than once as they tend to be more demanding of your relationship status if that happens.

They call me a player but I don't really care what they think of me

I am a player.

Or so I was.

Because now, I'm tired of having parades of women.

They have become faceless.

I'm tired of having to be perfect.
I'm tired of having to prove myself to people who don't care.
I'm tired of my job.
I'm tired of my facades.
I'm tired of my life.
I'm tired of me.

It's like your body move without its soul and everything you do feels meaningless.

I'm not even sure if my body still have the heart and soul.

"Are you not coming to work today?"

A voicemail from my personal assistant comes out from my phone.

I take out my sim card and put the phone away.

I don't want to give a damn of what happens around me anymore.

I don't think people care if I even exist or not. Thats why I'm going to do this.

I want to end my life. So, goodbye, world.

This is the perfect place because I love being here. I come here all the time when I am sad or happy. Memories, memories.

I stare down to the cliff. I'm ready to...

The sound of leaves rustling and footsteps approaching.

Whaaat the heck. Someone's here. Someone who is not supposed to be here.

The footsteps stops but I can hear some sobbing somewhere. I don't think whoever that is knows I'm here.

I look around and see a girl crying behind a tree. No. She's not a girl. She's a woman. What is she doing here crying anway?

She's diverting my plan. She has to go away.

I'm going to make her go. Crying or not. So I walk to the tree where she is.

"Look, miss." I say to her.

She ignores me.

"Umm, miss."  I clear my throat and say it louder this time.

She still sobs.

Is she ignoring me on purpose?

"Miss, I'm sorry but you have to go. This is a private property. I can sue you if I want." I stress the words out loud.

Those words seem to get her attention. She turns her head up while trying to stiffle her sobs. She blinks back some tears and then she stares at me.

I've never seen such eyes before. They are so desperate, yet she held her gaze strong. The brown hue in them so deep I swear they're mesmerizing me that I suddenly have the urge to wipe the remaining tears and held her.

"Kill me", she says.
