Start Again

The hurtful end.

A/n: please listen to the song as you read this. It was the thing that inspires the story. So I was listening to this song and got a great idea. its based off the song so I have to say thank you to the songs owner. Thank you Ryan Dolan for writing Start Again. ~ Aki

Koga was sitting alone in class and trying to ignore the rumors and hurtful things said about him. He looked out the window and sighed 'If only this life could be a happier one. Then maybe I can have a true happy smile.' He thought as he drifted of in his thoughts. Before he knew it the bell rang and class was over. He picked up his things and walked out and down the hall. The cold stares of everyone was more than enough to make him realize he was unwanted and unneeded. He stopped at his locker and stared at the names written on it. Fag. Loser. Gay. Worthless. He looked down and stayed like that for a while. The popular guys walked by and knocked his books out of his hands and walked away. His boyfriend Haku helped him pick them up but then kicked them away from him to keep his image up. Haiku walked to his friends then walked away leaving a hurt Koga behind.

Koga went to the bathroom and locked himself in a stall and started to cry. He received a text from Haku.
Haku: I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. Where are you?

Koga didn't reply he continued to cry. After a few minutes he put on a smile and walked out his eyes red. He received a text from Haku again.
Haku: Wait by the gate. Okay...

He texted back but it didn't matter. As he walked out Kina stopped him.

"Are you OK Koga?" Kina asked as he looked at his friend and felt bad for him. Koga walked away.

"I'm fine Kina. Don't worry about me or you'll have troubles as well." He said and never once faced his friend as he felt a tear fall then smiled again. Kina sighed and frowned and walked back to class.
~~After school~~

Koga waited at the gate with his hood up and scarf around his neck. He seen his boyfriend and watched him. Haku looked as if he was saying goodbye to his friends and then hugged a girl and kissed her. Koga knew it would happen but still couldn't help but cry as his heart shattered into pieces. He walked away and back home. When he got home he sat around in his room listening to his music. He received a text from Haku.
Haiku: What happened? Where'd you go? Why don't you answer me?
Koga: I'm sorry I was a bother. Shes pretty and won't cause you trouble. Good bye.
Haku: Koga? Koga? Koga! Koga!

Koga had grabbed a bottle of sleeping pills and sat down on his bed thinking about his life and how it could've been. Then he closed the door and laid down. He took a few of the pills and laid there crying until he stopped breathing.
