"What the..." Violet said after taking a look at Louis' shoulder. His flesh was torn in places and blood was still coming out in little bits, it certainly looked like a weird bite wound but you could see what looked like some teeth marks on his shoulder.
She and Clementine looked at each other knowingly and Clementine took a step back after looking at Louis with horror and shock.
"No..this can't be..." Clementine whispered with sadness, her mind started racing at all the bad feelings and how they will lose their friend. She didn't think she could bare the thought of losing someone else..of failing them and not protecting them. Sure she was protecting Violet but she felt bad she couldn't protect the both of them and she thought about what she would do if she ever had to choose between them just like she once did before.
"Fuck! I knew we shouldn't have left you there!" Violet yelled and kicked the ground, she grabbed her hair with both hands in frustration and in guilt and started pacing around. She believed he was gonna be fine and they had to take a chance on him. But she soon regretted it. Because if it wasn't for them listening to him, this wouldn't have happened.
Louis covered his shoulder up gently and said "Guys..it's not a fucking bite."
Confusion filled the air around them and Violet stopped pacing back and forth and looked at Louis and asked him "What? It fucking looks like one to me."
"I know it looks bad but it's not a bite, the glass from the window is what did that." He sighed and winced in pain after trying to move his arm up and continued "That fucking asshole doesn't know how to break glass properly, it was sticking out every where in weird angles."
"Oh thank god You stupid shit.." Violet whispered with relief and made her way to him and punched his other shoulder then hugged him tight, making sure not to go near his injury.
Clementine sighed with relief as if a huge rock was lifted off her shoulders and she joined in on the hug. Soon the others followed and they were all hugging each other and thanking god for another chance with their charming friend who always seemed to add some kind of joy and cheeriness to the atmosphere.

Violet was watching Jade.
It was her turn to take a shift and watch the girl as she got accustomed to her new room, she watched her go from every corner to the other and exploring her new surroundings, it was night time.
Jade was admiring everything about this room, this girl had a lot going on in her mind at that moment but she pushed everything at the back of her head and instead thought about the blonde girl sitting at one of the bunk beds and just watching her explore.
"You know it's not much to look at anyway." Violet said after she got tired of the girl touching and looking at every little thing.
"I know, I'm just kind of fascinated by it all cause it's been a while since I had a room of my own." Jade said with a frown.
"Oh.." Violet scratched the back of her neck awkwardly and decided not to talk anymore, she wasn't a people's person and she didn't know what to do. She then remembered when Clementine first got here and how she made her open up so easily and make her feel understood and warm up to her quickly.
She smiled looking back at everything and how close they got together. It was so natural for them to get along and just talk openly and feel good.
Jade noticed the smile on her face because she was very focused on Violet and asked her "What's that smile for?" She did enjoy seeing her smile but she wanted to know what caused it so that she can see her smile more often.
