FROSTBURN || Min Yoongi

Chapter 6

"You've caused quite a commotion today Ms. Area." 

Dr. Choi stood in front of me as I was being held down by two guards. Normally, two men would be nothing against me. But whatever the fuck was in that tranquillizer, numbed my powers and numbed me as well. I could barely stand if it weren't for the guards holding me.

"You should just give in. You'll only make this harder for yourself."

I lifted my gaze and glared at the man in front of me. We were inside a room surrounded by metal.

"I'm not doing shit for you people!" 

Dr. Choi fixed his glasses with a smirk playing in the corner of his mouth. He made a hand gesture at the guards at the door. The door opened and Yoongi walked in. My body tensed as soon as I saw him. Anger boiled inside me as I remembered how he ruined my only chance to escaping.

"You've killed a lot of my men today Aera, can't let that go without a proper punishment can I?" 

Dr. Choi said as the guards holding me let go of my arms and cuffing them around the chains hanging from the ceiling.

"Now then, boys turn up the heater, make things easier for Yoongi." Dr. Choi said, leaving the room and the heavy metal door closing after him.

I felt the room heating up and I could almost see the heat waves around us. I broke down in sweat almost immediately and my body started aching. 

"Yoongi, you have to help me. I- I can't do h-heat." My voice came out weaker than I expected but I didn't care about that now.

Yoongi's eyes started glowing a bright color of orange, like an angry flame, as the veins on his arms and hands glowed with the same color.

"I'm sorry..." He almost whispered. But I heard him...

Realizing what was happening, I closed my eyes waiting for the unbearable pain to come and finally it did...

The fire bursting  out of his hands didn't seam to stop. The room was already hot and him blasting fire added on to the pain.

I knew the bastards outside were watching me so I tried holding in my screams as I bit down on my lip, drawing out blood.

The pain was too much and the chains around my wrists started heating up making tears roll down my face.

"I know you can do better than that Yoongi."

Dr. Choi's voice rang into the room from the speakers.

"FUCK YOU!" Yoongi yelled and suddenly I felt like I was on fire.

A blood curdling scream left me, echoing around the empty room. Everything burned, everything hurt. The pain made want to die so that I wont be able to feel it any more.

"STOP! Y-YOONGI, PLEASE! P-LEASE STOP, IT H-HURT!" 

The smell of burned skin hit my nose again, making my stomach churn. My eyes started getting heavier and the only thing that held me up were the burning hot chains digging into my hands.

"That's enough Yoongi, thank you for your cooperation."

Yoongi's POV

I fell down on my knees, breathing heavily and stopping the fire, as soon as I heard his voice. I was too scared to look at her, to look at what I've done to her. I've killed before, I've killed people like me before but never innocent...

I looked down at my hands, still glowing orange and slowly lifted my head to look at her.

My breath caught in my throat as I saw her petite body hanging down the chains. Her head was hanging down in front of her and she wasn't moving. Her once pale white skin was cover in blood, burns and blisters. 

I heard the door open and footsteps slowly approaching me.

"You've done well, I'll make sure to keep our promise." Dr. Choi petted my shoulder and walked away. 

Suddenly the medical team rushed in, unlocking her hands. Her small body hit the hard surface.

"Oh my god..." Dr. Mina gasped as she rushed to her side. Quickly crouching down beside her she checked her neck for vitals. I was unable to move, I just sat there watching everything that was happening.

"Yoongi! Get your sister!" Mina yelled.

"İs she..."

"No! Quickly get your sister!" 

Relief washed over me, hearing that she was alive. Without wasting any more time, I quickly got up at my feet and started running as fast as I can.

"YURI!" 

I yelled running down the corridors, causing everyone to look at me. I rushed inside her room, slamming the door open, only to find she wasn't there. 

I ran out of her room, going to the guy's rooms  to ask them if they knew where she was. Opening Hoseok and Jungkook's door harshly, I saw both Jungkook and Yuri playing card game on the bed.

They both jumped in surprised by my sudden entrance.

"Hey oppa, you oka-"

"Yuri, you have to come with me hurry!" I grabbed her wrist, trying to pull her out the door.

She pulled her wrist back and stared at me in confusion.

"Are you insane?! What's going on? What are you-"

" It's Aera!"
