10 - #Elsbur

After the Facetime call

Wilbur's POV

I genuinely believe I could be the happiest man in the world right now. My stupid idiotic brain, without thinking, blurted out asking Els on a date, and she said yes. Well, it didn't exactly happen like that.. but close enough. I just can't believe it had happened.

I felt super cheery and couldn't fall asleep, although it had been about 2 am. 

I was in the mood to have a vibe stream with chat. I don't believe they've ever seen me this happy before, so it should be quite something.

WilburSoot had started streaming: "Vibe Stream! Just chatting :)"

"Hello chat! How are we today?" I ask the chat, with enthusiasm and a big smile on my face.

After a while of just simply talking, playing my guitar, telling them about what I've been up to, I saw Els name quite a few times in chat. 

c4tlovr: Wilbur! What do you think about the newest member Els on the Dream SMP?! 

444Star: Omg, I ship it so hard. #Elsbur

G4L4XY: Have you seen them on Twitter and Instagram?! They seem pretty cozy to me. Ship it so hard!

"Chat, I think Els is a really nice girl. She's super friendly and everyone on the SMP adores her. She and I have a pretty good friendship." I say, with a smile to my chat. 

I didn't know that those simple sentences would make my chat go absolutely crazy, spamming #Elsbur. 

I had noticed it and said, "Woah chat! Calm down with the shipping. I don't know how she feels about it, or if she even knows about it, so I wouldn't want it to bother her if she saw it. You guys know what I mean?"

Chat had calmed down a bit, but they wouldn't get off the topic of Els. I didn't really mind it though, I loved talking about her. I just didn't want to drop any hints or anything about "us" to the chat yet. I had saw a question and decided to read it.

xxxppa: Will Els ever be on one of your streams?

I reply by saying, "I think so, and probably very soon."

After answering that question about Els, I changed the topic and decided to play geoguesser. 

An hour and a half goes by, and I end the stream. It was a super chill stream, and I hope my chat enjoyed it as much as I had.

It was almost 4 am, and I needed to head to bed. I was super tired.

The next morning

Els POV

Surprisingly, I woke up pretty early. I didn't have work today but I did go to sleep early last night, so it kinda made sense. I sent Wilbur my usual "good morning :)" text. I knew he wasn't awake, but I wanted him to wake up to that notification. 

I stayed in bed for a bit and was on my phone. I decided to go on Twitter.

What the fuck is #Elsbur? And why is it trending?
