Camila Cabello knew it was wrong to walk through the doors of that sushi restaurant, but she still did.

She wanted to talk to Lauren Jauregui.

She had a strange sense of humor and talked about vaginas as if it were a typical topic of conversation between strangers, but she was captivated by their beauty and way of being. She'd never met a person so full of confidence, with such elegant movements and such enigmatic feelings.

She looked for the girl with her eyes and soon found her. She was sitting right in the center of the room, leaning her elbows on the table and placing her face on her hands, keeping her gaze on one of the pretty pictures on the wall with the utterly expressionless features.

Camila felt a slight squeeze on her chest as she realized that she was not the only one who noticed Lauren's majestic presence in that place. There were more than ten men who stared at her in an undisguised way, and this made her burn inside, although the reasons for the fire were clearly unknown.

The tattoo artist finally made it to Lauren's place and sat across from her. She immediately noticed that the men's eyes were also beginning to run through her body, and the mysterious girl with the tattooed dragonflies smiled at this.

So Camila understood that Lauren had chosen that table precisely for that reason: She liked to be admired. She liked others to realize her incomparable beauty.

Camila sighed. She always chose the corner table.

"I knew you were coming" She whispered, and she seemed a bit bored while talking. She was watching her with her piercing green eyes, the sunglasses hanging from the pocket of her leather jacket "that's why I took care of ordering for both of us. I hope you don't mind."

"It doesn't bother me" She confirmed, and it was true. She loved Lauren's daring, and also how authentic she was. She didn't change to impress her. She was very impressive.

She liked that about her.

"Okay" She said with a smile before moving her head slightly to the right, peeling her eyes away from Camila's and concentrating on something behind her.

When Camila looked at what Lauren was seeing, she found a beautiful panda sliding through the bamboo trees perfectly painted on a canvas. It was the picture that the girl had been admiring before her arrival

"...I painted it" Lauren recognized with pride, and when Camila turned to see her, she found her smiling. And that was a real smile.

"I didn't think you were into painting" She whispered kindly with a smile as she looked at the girl's fingers, which continued to support her head. She thought of how many pictures those small pale extensions had painted, how many times those fingers had worked hours and hours to do works like that panda that barely received attention "I thought you were a woman with a different kind of... business."

By other businesses she was referring to the owner of large companies or even something affiliated with drug trafficking.

"I'm sorry I disappointed you"

Camila denied it immediately.

"You haven't disappointed me, Lauren. This is a nice surprise" She encouraged "...You're very good."

"Thank you. I was born with that gift... You are not bad either."

"Thank you. I had to take art classes for four years in order for my drawings to become what they are now. They used to be disgusting, really disgusting." She was proud of her achievements, as was Lauren when she saw that painting.

Maybe, deep inside, the green-eyed girl and she weren't that different.

"Not everyone is born with talent, don't worry" She tried to comfort her while looking at her nails.
