((MIRA'S POV))
Morgana and I snuck into the Council Chambers as we hear Uther talking with his men and the council.
"What if burning this witch doesn't stop the poison? How do I protect my people? My men have closed down the water pumps." Uther says as he paces around the table.
"But the emergency supply won't last for much longer. We have to find a way of cleansing the water of the disease." Gaius says after a while as the councilmen were all talking amongst themselves.
"But how?" Uther asks him. Both of us slowly inch our ways over to where there are fewer men so we can get a better look at what's going on.
"Well..." Gaius was about to say something else only to be interrupted by Merlin bursting into the chambers after banging the doors wide open.
"It was me! It was me who used magic to cure Gwen's father!" He yells as everyone in the chambers blankly stares at him.
"Gwen is not the sorcerer. I am!" He yells out again coming closer to the table. I was shocked that he would do something this stupid to get caught or even tell his big secret to the world.
(I'm going to kill him if Uther doesn't!!)
I thought to myself as Gaius stands up from his seat at the table yelling:
"Merlin! Are you mad?!"
I couldn't help but laugh at the father/son relationship between the two, but my thoughts stop as merlin says:
"I cannot let her die for me. I place myself at your mercy." Uther looks at him, glaring.
"He doesn't know what he's talking about, Sire." Gaius says to the King now, I start across the room to Arthur, glaring hard at him to say something, anything.
"I do!" Merlin yells out.
"Then arrest him!" Uther points to Merlin as the guards get a hold of his arms.
"Father, please! I can't allow this! This is madness! There's no way Merlin is a sorcerer." Arthur exclaims to the room, finally able to breathe out, even if I didn't realize I was holding it in.
"Did you not hear him?" Uther questions his son. only for Arthur to say:
"Yes." I can tell that he's trying to get his father to see why this isn't right but the way he stares at me just makes me sad, and I think he feels that way too.
"He admitted it." Uther says pointing at Merlin. Merlin stares at us, he could tell that I'm becoming more upset by the second and that I wanted to do something as Arthur argues why Merlin shouldn't be dragged away to the dungeons.
"He's in love!" Arthur smirks as the men in the council talk amongst themselves quietly at this point, Morgana and I couldn't help but look back at each other wide-eyed at what Arthur just said.
"What??" Merlin asks confused.
"With Gwen." Arthur says, only for some of the members, and the King grin at this.
"I am not." Merlin snaps still confused slightly, only for Arthur to give him a "Stop lying face".
"Yes, you are." Arthur says.
"No way." Merlin exclaims this time looking at everyone, shaking his head from side to side saying no.
"I saw you yesterday with that flower she'd given you." Arthur says, which was true because I saw the flower as well.
"I'm not in love with her!" Merlin spats out only for Arthur to put his arm around Merlin. Arthur and Merlin talk for a bit until Uther asks:
"Perhaps she cast a spell on you?" Only for Arthur to look at his father worriedly. Uther snickers. Other council members snicker, and Arthur smiles in relief.
