After so much work, I am finally, finally in Japan!!!!!!!

I look around some more and mere seconds later, I saw something.

A CAT CAFE!!!!!

I'm so lucky....

I wish they could hire me....

I only have like 200 dollars left on my wallet, and I still need a roof over my head and food, also count necessities.

Entering the Cat Cafe with a luggage, and a ton weigh of anxiety, is no easy job.

"Are you hiring?"

I asked in Japanese. This is my first time speaking in this language to other people, since I have learned it just by watching anime.

Yeah...

"English?", the cashier person asked.

SHE KNEW ENGLIIIIIIIIIISH.

I AM SO LUCKY, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.

"Yes", I answered immediately. Suddenly feeling a great weight vanish on my shoulders.

"Ohhh, that's why. Don't wurri I can spek Englesh, a leettle bit"

I immediately cringe.

But at least she can, understand me...

"Are you hiring?" I asked in Japanese, even though she can speak in English. It somehow felt wrong.

Meh.

"Yes"

And so I was immediately hired, they are low on workers, and the cats needs more caring, so yeah...

Luck is on my side.

After a couple of months of working at the Cat Cafe, I am proud to say that I am happy, for once in my life, I am finally happy.

My coworkers is so nice, they doesn't even mind that I'm quirkless.

I live in a cheap yet fine suburb.

I was absolutely content and happy.

My income is as stable as my mental issues, kindda wobbly but its fixable.

And the CATS is so CUTEEE!!!

Back in Seattle, my grandma doesn't let me to have a cat, she doesn't want me to be happy.

But here?

THERE'S CAT EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!

I'm so happy...

Because luck betrayed me.
