We slowly head back to the Castle, once we actually get there and dismount from our own horses I couldn't help but start petting the Mare's neck softly as Arthur talks to some Knights a little bit a ways away from where I'm standing until he comes walking over by me again.
"She likes you." He says, making me look up at him, smiling.
"I like her as well." I smile kissing the upper part of her nose and pet her forehead too.
"That's good to hear because she's yours now." Arthur places his hand on my shoulder softly, smiling as my mouth hangs open slightly at the news.
"What!" I exclaim happily.
"I wanted her to be a gift for you, Mira." Arthur says only for me to jump into his arms happily and hugging him tightly. I kiss him on the cheek before letting him go as well.
"Arthur that's so sweet of you, thank you." I tell him smiling, he's doing the same.
"You'll have to tell me what you chose to name her then, won't you?" He asks me once another Knight comes and takes my now new horse to the stables as we walk up the front stairs of the castle.
"I'll tell you after I think about it for a while." I tell him, placing a kiss on his cheek again before I walk away from him and go up to my chambers as a blush creeps up onto my face.
"Well, well, well, someone's blushing up a storm?"
A voice questions me as I walk down the corridor that is on the way to my Chambers, looking up to see both Gwen and Morgana smirking at me as they looked like they were waiting at my door. I just laugh opening the doors to my chambers so they could follow me inside.
"Arthur was sweet enough to gift me with that new mare that came to Camelot a month or so ago from what he told me." I tell them, both smiling happily as well.
"Wait, the one that was hard for the Knights to train?" Morgana asks me. I nod at her this time.
"She's calm around me, and I'm the same when I'm around her, Arthur could see that she likes me. I do as well. and that's when he told me that it's a gift for me."
I tell them again, blushing even more at this point. They awed at all that I told them about today when I was with him. After a while of talking I go back to my chambers wanting to read the book that I was enjoying currently, I couldn't help but not be sucked up in the book I'm reading because of how amazingly it's written and how the characters are described. A loud sound came from somewhere near me as I grab one of the oranges that were in a bowl on my table and about to throw it at whoever it is. Merlin's standing there so I place the orange back in its place in the bowl once he apologizes for startling me.
"We should be out of the castle at midnight, I'll come up to get you, then we can go to the stables to get some horses." Merlin tells me as we talk more about our plans for getting away from the castle without anyone seeing us for that matter. I told him about what Arthur and I did for the afternoon together and Arthur's gift to me as well.
"I believe the two of you've grown closer, from what I can tell you guys would make a great match!" Merlin exclaims, smiling like a crazy person making me laugh slightly.
"Merlin, you always make me smile or laugh. I'm happy to call you my friend, and Arthur should be glad to have you around." I tell Merlin making him smile too.
"Well, for that matter I'm glad the two of us found you when we did." Merlin says, I hug him tightly happy to call him my friend. He then leaves my chambers as I get back to reading in my book for the rest of the afternoon and into the early evening before Arthur knocks on my door as he and I head to dinner with Morgana and Uther now. I try so hard to put on a normal smile but the feelings that I'm getting right now from inside of me, still as if my scales are crawling against my skin, or trying to poke out. I really try not to itch my arms just in case they would see me doing this. Merlin could tell that I was having a hard time with this right now as he glances occasionally at me just to see if I was okay or not. We eat our food, talking and laughing happily together for a few more hours until all of us were done and leave one by one.
