Merlin's at my side after he was finished in the stables I didn't realize how long I was standing in the same place for before we walk into the castle together. He was going to go back to where he and Gaius live, so I just tagged along. My mouth opens as I see this man:

"Who is he, and what happened?" I ask Gaius.
"His name's Lancelot, he saved me from a huge winged animal." Merlin tells me as he helps Gaius tend to Lancelot's injuries now.
"The wound itself is superficial. The fever will pass. He should be fine in the morning." Gaius says to Merlin as they talk for a while.
My father and I ride on horseback to survey a burning village with a team of our men following us. All of us hearing cries of the villagers that are hurt or running around trying to find their families and friends that might not be so lucky as we see some people dead on the ground or under things that were homes of these people once.
"What creature could have done this?" My father asks me as we both look around the destroyed village before us now.
"We found no tracks in or out. What the villagers say must be true: it has wings and..." I was saying as my father then interrupts me by asking:
"What?"
"And it took no livestock, only people. Whatever it is, it has a taste for human flesh." I tell him, some of our men try to help around the place too.
"Post sentries in all the outlying villages. Put the lookouts on full alert. If this thing should make for Camelot, we must be ready."
He orders as I nod as we all go through a couple more parts of this village before we head back into Camelot and finally back to the castle. I went to check on Mira, once I open her door I see her asleep in her bed so I just leave her be and head over to my own chambers. to get my Armor on as we are working with some of the other noblemen with their swords skills. I head down with Merlin following me as I arrive at the training grounds as we start training.
"Right, you jumped up dung beetle, this is it. The final test. Pass this and you're a knight of Camelot. Fail, and you're no one. You face the most feared of all foes, the ultimate killing machine. You face me. You're challenge to last one-minute free combat. Grummond, Second son of Wessex." I yell out as I draw my sword and nod to the servant with an hourglass, as he turns it upside down.
"Your time starts now."
I yell out as Grummond swings the swords around while I watch. Grummond goes for the attack and I take him down in two swift blows. The crowd applauds, as I remove Grummond's flag.
