"Ouch. That hurt." I thought as I heard everyone's comment as I walked by. I'm the new girl, and what I've learned from teenage novel love stories is that it's hard to be the new girl. Although, I'm more confident about my appearance than most people, and I let it slide.
Everyone has their own opinion, and even though it may hurt to hear it, it's true. My heart started breaking as I walked by and heard a few people being unusually loud.
" Hey, nice dress. Where'd you get it? The circus?"
" Killing those jeans! Literally."
" Look at her hair! It's hideous!"
Math. That's my first class. I rush in, although I was getting slowed down by the crowd of people standing around a locker. I ignored that, and sat down at my first class. And there he was. Blue eyes, brown hair, beautiful smile...
Math was suddenly my favorite. Don't ask me why, because it will always be a mystery.
