Preface

Long ago in a far away land there lived a family of royalty who were known for their cruel and gruesome ways of ruling.

Some dare say that they were in a contract with the devil himself. However these rumors became even more like true sayings as the queen fell pregnant with a child that when he was born looked more demon than a human.

It turns out the queen had had an affair with the King of Evil himself and once the current King had been killed the King of Evil had taken over and slaughtered all of the former king's bloodline.

However as the young child grew he became much more bloodthirsty to the point where he actually killed his own mother and severely wounded the king of evil forcing him to flee for his own safety. The child took up the bloody kingdom of his own.

In order to keep the town's folk from rebelling he made a decree that once a year a pure soul, male or female, was to be offered to him as a sacrifice.

This went on for several hundred years the town's folk living in constant fear of the beast’s bloodlust. Which now brings us to our tale.
