3rd Person POV

Izuku lay on the floor sideways, thinking.

Kairu was throwing a small stone against the wall repeatedly, Salami was asleep(or at  least pretending to), Yumi was playing with an electricity and Keiri was meditating after having yelled at the other four.

Izuku rolled onto his other side and sighed deeply.

"Keiri?"

"Keiri?"

"Maikeru?"

"Don't deadname me."

"Well then next time don't ignore me."

Keiri groaned, "what do you want this time?"

"What's that old song you said your dads taught you?" The girl's brow furrowed, she muttered under her breath wanting to remember something.

"Down by the bay~"

"Down by the bay?"

"Where the watermelon rot,"

"The watermelon rot?"

"If you go home,"

"If I go home?"

"Just don't get caught."

"I won't get caught."

"But if you do?"  "And if I do?"

"Your mother will say-"

"Never trust a man, under the sand-"

"Down by the bay~"

"When I go to sleep,"

"When she goes to sleep,"

"Book in my hand,"

"Book in her hand,"

"I know in my dreams,"

"Know in her dreams,"

"I'll see her there."

"You'll see who where?"

"She isn't real, my parents lie~"

"I know the truth but I can never tell you or  they will all cry-"

Loud banging and yelling stopped the duo's musical session short, Salami woke up and  threw herself up to the ceiling, claws tearing through the brick and stone.

"What is that?"

"Good question."

They(as in all 5 people)watched as the many locks on the door were hastily unlocked and the heavy door was pushed open.

Izuku scrambled towards the furthest corner away, open-mouthed and wide-eyed as the ghosts dissipated into thin air, "don't leave me!" He could faintly make out Kairu mouthing something along the lines of, "you're on your own now buddy, see you in the afterlife!"

The ravenette whimpered helplessly as a big burly man lumbered towards where he was, Izuku used his wings, which homed a hearty amount of feathers, to cover himself as best he could, but to no avail.

The giant man grinned a cold grin and lifted Izuku up by the hair, "you are going to come with me and not say a single word, do you understand?"

Izuku glared and began kicking to try and free himself but failed and was merely taken out of the basement to the upper part of the establishment.

There, a nice-sized group of people in ludicrous costumes stood in either defensive or offensive positions. The 6-year-old boy noticed that the only one that didn't look like the offspring of a clown was a man in a black jumpsuit and a long grey scarf, he had black hair that was defying all three laws of gravity and red glowing eyes.

Izuku was brought down to the floor but held in a chokehold and a knife dangerously close to his face, specifically his eye.

"It's either you "pro-heroes" leave, or the kid dies - make your choice."

Izuku's green eyes darted across the room in a frenzy when he made eye contact  with someone.

It was the man with a scarf, Izuku noted that the man's eyes held a similar emotion to his...

Panic and doubt.

What was he doubting though?

That the man wouldn't attack?

Izuku chuckled quietly to himself, if they thought that he would come out without being harmed they were wrong.

Very wrong.

"Well?" The big man with a buzz cut lowered the knife to his cheek and dragged it across his skin, slowly cutting deeper and looking at the "heroes".

'Why aren't these idiots doing anything?'

Izuku hardened his gaze on a woman with hip-long, shaggy midnight blue hair. He glared, his gaze long, hard and steady.

If he didn't make it out he wanted his stare to linger.

'Do something!'

The woman hesitated before lifting an arm to her skin-tight suit and ripping it. A lavender mist filled the room and made its way over to where Izuku and this man were.

It was bewitching.

This "mist" smelt sweet and citrus-y, like a lemon-based dessert pastry and... vodka?

Odd.

Izuku was dropped as the man fell to the ground, seemingly unconscious. The boy took a deep breath of the ambrosial scent before scrambling over to the group. He darted to the person closest to him, which was, of course.

The man in the grey scarf.

This same man crouched down and scooped the small boy up princess-style and hurried out.
