Chapter 105
ShyAnne's POV
*One Month Later*
We've officially been on tour for a month and it's going great. The kids have settled into their new routine and are adjusting nicely. Eliza still gets fussy when she wants to move around and I won't let her. I've learned how to keep her calm and how to let her out of the stroller without losing control of her. I think the tour is even better since Lennon is here and the twins have a friend to play with on the bus. I can tell they're going to grow up to be best friends since they're so close in age.
Sometimes, when I think about it too much, it makes me sad when I remember that we were supposed to have a little boy who was the exact same age as Lennon. I try to push that thought out of my mind, because there's nothing that can be done about that fact now. I just have to remember how lucky I am to currently have two beautiful, healthy children.
The band was at soundcheck so Alice and I decided to take the kids for a walk in the area around the venue. It felt really nice out today so it was a good day to be outside. There was a park nearby so we took the kids there and let them on the playground, Alice and I sitting on a bench and talking. We finally decided to leave and rounded up our children.
"Do you see Eliza?" I asked Alice as I put Elijah in the stroller and scanned the playground again.
"No." She said, shaking her head, also scanning the playground equipment.
"Eliza!" I called.
"Eliza!" Alice called.
"Eliza Biersack!" I called again, my stomach twisting into knots. Fuck, fuck, shit. "ELIZA!" I screamed hysterically, running around the playground, looking in every tunnel and slide. I tore through all the bushes and every place that a two year old could hide. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god." I started to hyperventilate, running back over to Alice.
"It's okay." She said, rubbing my shoulder.
"IT'S NOT OKAY!" I screamed. "MY DAUGHTER IS MISSING!" She flinched and pulled back. "I-I'm sorry."
"No, it's okay. You're upset. We'll find her. I'll call the police and you call Andy." She said and I nodded. Her calm demeanor was starting to settle me, but then I would work myself up again when I thought about my daughter being taken. I mean, she's only two, she can't get that far on her own. That's the only logical assumption. I pulled out my phone and called Andy, my hands shaking as tears streamed down my face. Andy didn't answer so I called every member until I finally was able to reach their tour manager.
"Hello?"
"Put Andy on the phone now." I demanded.
"Hello?" I heard Andy's voice a minute later.
"E-Eliza's gone!" I cried.
"Excuse me?"
"Eliza's missing! We went to the park and we were about to leave and I can't find Eliza. I looked everywhere but she's gone! Someone took her Andy!"
"Okay, okay, calm down. Oh god." He said, his voice anything but calm.
"Alice is calling the police."
"Okay, okay, we'll be right there." He said, his voice frantic. I hung up and collapsed on the ground in tears.
"Mama." Elijah said from his stroller. I picked him out of it and held him close, sobbing as I clutched onto him.
"It's okay baby." I said, stroking his hair and kissing his forehead.
"Mama." He repeated, reaching out and rubbing his hand on my cheek, wiping away a tear. I managed to smile and kissed his nose.
"I love you so much son." I said, holding him close again. Five minutes later, the tour bus showed up and the guys came running out. Andy ran up to me, Jinxx ran up to Alice, and the other three guys began searching the area, high and low. Andy dropped to his knees and wrapped his arms around Elijah and I, his body beginning to shake. He pulled back and I saw tears streaming down his face.
"What are we going to do Andy?"
"We're going to find her. We won't do the show tonight, we won't leave this city until we find her."
"I knew we shouldn't have brought them on this tour." I said, shaking my head.
"No one couldn't expected this to happen."
"YOU FORCED ME TO BRING THEM ON TOUR AND NOW OUR DAUGHTER IS FUCKING GONE ANDY!"
"DON'T FUCKING BLAME ME! NO ONE TOLD YOU TO LEAVE THE BUS AND GO TO A PARK IN A RANDOM FUCKING CITY!"
"HEY! You guys fighting right now is not going to help anything except drive a wedge between the two of you and distract you guys from what's important right now. Finding Eliza." Jake yelled at us.
"I'm sorry." I sighed, looking at Andy.
"Me too. I'm scared and I'm taking it out on you." I admitted. "W-What if we never find her Andy?"
"We're going to find her. We have to." Andy said, kissing my forehead.
