Description: Long, Betrayal
~

I'd like an explanation,
Of why you did that to me.
Of why you just left me,
Alone,
Scared,
Fending for myself,
Under that willow tree.

You dropped me of at the beautiful place,
promised me I would be safe.
I'd like an explanation.

I'd like an explanation,
of why you thought it would be fine.
Fine to tell me you'd be right back,
Yet leaving me without turning around.

You just kept walking,
No sight of me and making no sound.
I'd like an explanation.

I'd like an explanation,
Of why you brought me my favourite meal.
You told me to dress in light blue,
Telling me it was your favourite.

You said it was a picnic,
To celebrate something new.
It was quite new,
You leaving me there,
Alone,
Scared,
Fending for myself,
Under that willow tree.

I'd like an explanation.
