Izuku P.O.V.
I slowly opened my eyes to a bright white light and closed them as fast as possible. 'Too bright, too bright.' After a few minutes of readjusting to the blinding light, I opened my eyes to see a white ceiling and the bright white lights that had hurt my eyes before. I moved my head to the right to see a window, with cloudy skies and small droplets decorating the window, while in front of me the T.V. was on with some hero knews. To my right I just saw my mom staring at me with wide eyes. I sunk back into my pillow and thought 'You know, I could get used to this. Hero knews, comfy bed disturbed mom. Wait, a seco-' "Izuku! You are up!" And in true Inko Midoriya fashion, I was being suffocated by a massive bear hug and was gaining a wet shoulders, but that didn't matter right now. "H-hi m-mom" was all I could say with a raspier voice than normal. That was when she let go of me and handed me a glass of water to which I silently thanked and finally noticed the attached IV bag to my body. I put the glass down and sat back. not really knowing what to do in this situation.
After minutes of silence, my mom decided to finally speak up. "Mister Aizawa and some friends will probably be coming later, but we won't be asking many questions. At least, not the heaviests, not right now. But Izuku, we still need to talk. I know we haven't had the most open relationship in what now seems like forever, but I always feared that I would find you in this situation back at home. However, we'll speak when we can go home. Right now, I just need you to know that we are here for you and that you have people that care about you." She gave her small speech through teary eyes and trying her best not to avert her gaze to my left arm. I looked at it myself and say that some of the scars were not as visible as before, and the main one looking too healed for having been asleep for just a few days. Speaking of which "Mom, how long was I asleep for? And why am I so...... cured?" The last question sounded wrong, but I guess she understood perfectly as she answered with little hesitation. "You slept for three days and Recovery Girl helped out."
Third person P.O.V.
Aizawa had arrived a few minutes but heard the small talk that was going on between mother and son. He had told his students to wait at least an hour since he left due to him having to discuss important matters with Izuku, and he would leave no room for discussion on his decisions. He had made a terrible mistake before and he would be damned if he let that happen again, as he had underestimated how stubborn his problem child could be in a situation as sensitive as this. After a moment of silence, he made himself known and knocked on the door before being silently greeted by the green haired Inko Midoriya and then walking into the room and standing in front of Izuku covering up the television while his mother put it on mute. "Hello Midoriya, good to see you awake again." Izuku gulped audibly, as he didn't know if he should expect being scolded or anything else at this point. With a large sigh, Aizawa looked at Izuku right in his eyes before making a statement that would not sit well with the green haired boy. "You are getting therapy, this isn't up for debate."
Midoriya tried to rebuttal and Aizawa saw his mouth open and close while his mind processed what to say. "Look Midoriya, this isn't something you can deny because I can't let something like this ever happen again, neither to you nor any of my students. Also, it won't be Hound Dog, I called Fukukado and she agreed. Ms. Joke is your therapist." If Izuku wanted a silver lining, he had found it after hearing Aizawa's last sentence and because he knew he couldn't speak back, he just nodded and gave a quick thank you. "Also, some of your classmates came while you rested and some will be coming today , look to your right." Izuku did as he was told and saw on the floor neatly put a large amount of 'Get Well Soon' cards that his classmates had signed while a pink one stood out to him. He reached for it and his mom handed it to him with a knowing smile and read it while his face slowly became redder as he saw it was from Uraraka.
Hi Izuku, I hope you are reading this as soon as possible. We all miss you, and I truly mean it. I miss you too, more than you can imagine. I hope to see you as soon as possible so we can get to see you return to your normal self in no time. I think recovery girl did wonders on you and all of your closest friends will be going to see you on Saturday!
P.S. Your mom told me many stories of you as a kid in your All Might onesie, so I am sorry if we tease you a bit. Also, she is great.
See you soon, Uraraka <3
Although Izuku knew that Uraraka signed most of her messages and letters with a heart, he still felt somewhat special and satisfied from it, as if a small amount of hope that his crush liked the suicidal weird kid that had more issues than he let on. At least that's what he thought. He recalled the dream he had while asleep of him sitting on a bench next to Uraraka, holding hands and looking at the beautiful clean beach and just smiling at the sunset. He also remembered his talk with Nana and Daigoro and how he could control it as long as he kept it on low power and reaching to that feeling of wanting to capture something or someone. The peace of mind he gained as he learned that he wasn't alone even if he wanted to and could gain support from the previous users was something he would always treasure. And the warmth of seeing 21 letters all addressed to him in the hospital was something he never thought would happen. And before he knew it, Aizawa was once again out of the room, but at the door stood several other visitors.
