Welcome to Serpentine Empire
Hi guys!
I'm thrilled to share the first chapter of my second story, Serpentine Empire! I originally wrote this story back in my last year of high school and completely forgot it was sitting in my drafts. Revisiting it years later, I couldn't help but laugh at my younger self—I was far from the best writer back then! But the concept struck a chord with me, and I couldn't resist the urge to continue it.
Serpentine Empire dives deep into a world of darkness, exploring heavy themes such as violence, murder, abuse, drugs, and prostitution. The story follows the journey of a seemingly ordinary man who gets entangled in the gritty and unforgiving world of crime. His morals and beliefs will be tested at every turn.
Will he resist the venomous allure of a beautiful but dangerous "snake," or will he embrace his darker instincts and become a snake himself?
While the story begins in Los Angeles, its scope won't be confined to one city. This isn't just an LA crime story—it's a global exploration of power, corruption, and human vulnerability. From the neon-lit streets of urban sprawl to the secretive backrooms of power, Serpentine Empire will unravel in unexpected places.
If you're looking for a gripping narrative filled with suspense, moral dilemmas, and a dash of romance twisted by shadows, this story is for you.
This project is a bit different from my ongoing fantasy series, Astral: The Beginning. Unlike Astral, Serpentine Empire will have a slower update schedule—at least for now. This first chapter is a test run to see how you guys like it. If it resonates, I'll speed up the writing process and bring you more chapters faster.
