Chanyeol smiled a little. He was forced to lie to Baekhyun or Baekhyun will make your relationship with Kai really ended.
“Let’s go.” Chanyeol put his arm around Baekhyun’s shoulder and walked into the school.
You walked into your classroom with fatigue. You put your bag on the table and sat on your seat. You just sat on your seat and do nothing. Sungji looked at you in confusion, she knew it concerning about yesterday. She softly patted your shoulder, make you turned to her, “Want to share your story with me?” Sungji smiled at you.
You gave her a small smile. Sungji is a good listener and understanding. She’s your close friend since your first grade.
“Is it about yesterday?” Sungji asked.
You nodded slowly, “We quarreled, and he didn’t wait for me at the gate this morning…”
“Maybe he was late, so he can’t wait for you.” Sungji smiled, she’s trying to make you to think positive.
“I don’t know…” You whispered as you shook your head. Sungji rubbed your shoulder softly, “We’ll see, he can’t mad at you. Everyone knew it, Jiwoo. I’ve even memorized how the character of him.” She said with a chuckled, make a smile appeared on your face.
You smiled a little, “You’re right… Thank you, Sungji.”

It was break time, You looked at your mobile screen and there’s not a single message from Kai. You sighed as you put your phone into your pocket. You decided to go to his class. You peeked into his classroom and didn’t find Kai in there. It’s very surprising, because his friends are in joking and talking to each other there. You wondered to yourself.
“Ji-Jiwoo…” You turned around as you heard someone called your name. You smiled at Jaekwon, “Oh, Hi Jaekwon…” You waved at him happily.
He smiled sheepishly, “Are you looking for Kai?”
You nodded with a smile, “Do you know where he is?”
“He didn’t go to school today,” Jaekwon replied.
Your eyes widened, “D-Do you know why?”
He wanted to answer again but stopped abruptly and left you. Bewildered, you turned around and starled when you saw Kai’s friends were standing behind you.
“Jaekwon really want to die, he dared to talk to Jiwoo.” Tao shook his head as he crossed his arms.
“He was lucky because Kai isn’t here now.” Sehun added, his friends nodded in agreement.
“Why Kai didn’t come? Is he sick?” You asked them in worry.
They looked at each other, “We also don’t know, we just wanted to ask you about him.” Chen said.
You have a bad feeling about this. You immediately took your phone out of your pocket and tried to contact Kai, but his phone is off.
“We also tried to contact him,” You turned to D.O with a worried face. “First, his phone on but he didn’t answer. Second, he picked up but didn’t say anything and third… His phone was off.”
