Chapter 37 : Obvious ♡

"C'mon, Tamahiko!!" The firsts years whined, specifically the ones who weren't in the college preparatory classes. "But summer isn't over yet." Teshiro said. School will be starting a month from now and they haven't even go through the first rounds of the spring tournament yet. Shibayama and Akahana passed by and found the two giants begging Teshiro.

"What's up with you two?" Akahana chuckled and walked up to them. "We're begging Tamahiko to teach us during the summer for school." Inuoka bluntly admit with no shame. Shibayama noticed Teshiro's uncomfortable expression and looked at the two bumbling giants. "Teshiro-kun looks angry, don't you think this is too much?" The libero suggested.

"We can teach you instead!" Akahana suddenly say with her hands in the air, catching the boys off-guard. Teshiro asked her if she would teach them with Shibayama, he wouldn't want to put pressure on them. He had been warned by Kuroo and Yaku about tutoring these two and most of them weren't that great. Inuoka was the one who was easy to teach, Lev (according to Yaku) not that much. "It's fine, Teshiro-kun. Right, Shibayama-kun?" She smiled widely only to make Shibayama nervous. "Y-yep!"

Letting out a sigh, Teshiro wouldn't bare to see that happening. "Maybe I should go with you guys too. To give you an extra hand." Akahana's emerald green eyes glimmered and agreed with his plan. Her cheeks told another story, it was clear that she still has those butterflies.

"That means all of us are studying together!" Inuoka rejoiced with a wide grin on his face, started to jump up-and-down with Akahana.

"That was a workout..." Hoshiko wiped her sweat from her forehead after the run around the neighborhood, seemed like her ankle has healed. "Some workout? I almost faint." Emika complained and whimpered. The ace started to bicker with the pinch server about how hard the run was, even more weird to everyone was how intense it was than the little arguments that Makoto and Naomi have. "Hey, remember. Kaneko-san made us ran 10 laps, if you don't think that intense I don't know what is." Chou walked pass them with a cold shoulder, giving little chills down the girls' spines.

"Kurihashi, will you help me if Kaneko-sensei tell us to practice receive?" Hikaru suddenly brought it up, she has been asking Keiko about this topic ever since she arrived at the gym. Without any hesitation in her eyes, she grinned, "Of course, Hika-chan! I already told you that. What, you scared~?" The libero only chuckled and rubbed her raven hair. "Nothing, I'm just preparing if I got into the team if Kuze-san needed to be subbed."

Keiko had a little pout on her face and slowly crossed her arms. "Whaaat??? You serious?? I thought you'd quit too, like the others." The words she said sort of surprised Hikaru. After Kaneko was appointed their new coach and after they snuck into the training camp, more of the members like the other first years quit the club for intense training. It really upset Keiko for having some of the girls quit, even trying to convince them to join didn't helped.

"Promise me you won't quit, Hika-chan."

"Kurihashi......I won't."

Back at the gym, Himura was focused on her duties. Until, someone screamed bloody murder. It was Akahana. "What's wrong?!" She shakily pointed at the corner of the gym, it was a cockroach!!!

As quick as she can be, Akahana hid behind Himura as protection.

Kuroo only clicked his tongue. "Don't worry, Akahana. Lemme handle it." He took a racket out of thin air and slowly walked up closely to the roach. "Now, listen here, buddy. You'll die if you don't run." He suddenly talked to the cockroach.

"Is he..." Yaku trailed off only to be continued by Lev, "...talking to the cockroach?"

"Can I give it to Hoshi as a birthday gift?" Himura asked, only to make Akahana panicked. "What the hell are you thinking?!?!?"
