If The Marauders Lived

Part 1 Some back story

Graduation was so long that pad foot fell asleep in Remus was trying to wake him. James was snogging lily-like normal and Peter was all ears to the professors. Afterward, the group celebrated at James's parent's house. About a year after their graduation James and Lily got married. All of the marauders and Lily were in the order. Lily got pregnant and had Harry on July 31st, 1980.

"Sirius give me Harry," said James

"No I just got here I wanna hold to the little guy. After all, I am his godfather! " said Sirius.

" and I'm his father! You have been holding him for 2 hours give your boyfriend a chance to hold him." Said, James

Remus nods in agreement

Sirius reluctantly gives Harry to Remus.

Lily is dying laughing at the whole situation with Peter in the kitchen.

Remus was enjoying his time with baby Harry.

Sirius had transformed into his animagus form of a black dog and was begging at Remus's feet for attention. James made his way over after about 30 minutes and took Harry back for his feeding with lily. Basically the only time she got to hold Harry.

The full moon was coming and the crew decided to head out and help moony.

After saying goodbye to lily and Harry the marauders went into the woods. James turned into his stag animagus form. Sirius a black dog and Peter a rat.

They spent the night as they did at Hogwarts roaming and keeping moony in check.

In the morning the group crashed and slept most of the day. Lily eventually woke up James to watch Harry so she could get groceries from Diagon Ally.

Sirius and Remus woke and embraced each other and began snogging.

Peter was still dead asleep.

"How are you moony?" Asked James and Sirius.

"Sore and tired" replied moony.

"We should wake Peter so he can go back to his place his mom will be worried." Said, James.

Sirius carded a loud boom near Peter to wake him up which also woke Harry up. Remus took Harry and got him back to sleep. Peter went back to his place.

Once lily came back Sirius and Remus went to number 12 Grimwald place for some alone time to themselves and James and Lily.

"James! Can you clean up your mess?" Asked lily

"Ugh!" Replied James

He quickly picks up his mess.

"Harry is asleep thanks to Moony." Says James

" good!" says lily.

James scoops lily up and begins to snog her.

"Remember when we would do that to make Remus and Sirius jealous?" Said, James

"Yes! But they also taught us a few times with the help of the map. Removed the broom closet?" Lily says.

" Ohh I remember," says James deeply.

Just as the mood was beginning to intensify there was a sound of a baby Harry crying.

I will get him said lily as she walks upstairs.

Suddenly a man in a cloak appears in the house. Voldemort attempted to get past James but was unsuccessful. Once upstairs he told lily to live aside and let him kill Harry. She did not and was about to sacrifice herself for him. Her love created a mark on Harry that bounced the killing curse back onto Voldemort killing him. Or so they thought.

What they did not know now is that Harry is a Horcrux of Voldemort.

Lily and James told the rest about what had happened and eventually found out Peter had betrayed them. Peter eventually was sent to Azkaban for life but would escape eventually. But for now, all was calm again. Remus lily James and Sirius all took care of Harry. Remus and Sirius even moved in next door to help more.
