Izuku was glad that he had avoided the serious and awkward atmosphere between him and his friends, especially Uraraka, even if he knew that the confrontation happening right now would have come sooner or later. After an entire day of visits by every single one of his classmates and friends, as he had received twenty three people in his room, even if only for a few minutes, excluding the doctor or nurses that checked on him every few hours, but only two had stayed until now. It was of course Ochako, who was sitting next to him finding the courage to ask the next question, and his mother that was speaking outside the room with the doctor on important matters concerning Izuku. She had contemplated the words that would come out of her mouth, and with too much hesitation, she finally asked away. "Deku, what led to this? Why didn't you want our help?" and even if she knew that this was a very personal matter, she had also promised not to reveal anything that he said to her while answering her questions to the rest of the class. She was becoming his strongest pillar of emotional support, and she was okay with it. She didn't know that his mind was so troubled, but she mentally signed up for this the moment she knew about her huge crush.

"I-I am sorry U-uraraka. I guess I was just tired of being beaten down and it led me to g-give up I-I guess. I didn't want to be a b-burden for you guys so that it w-was unnecessary dead weight off of your shoulders. But I still troubled you even more....." She didn't know his past, and she wasn't sure if anyone truly did. After seeing Izuku be so reserved and stubborn over such serious matters, she couldn't make an accurate guess on how many times he had been 'beaten down' like he said. Was it literally? Was it figuratively? Did he have these thoughts before? She didn't really want to know the answers to those questions, fearing the answer he would give, but she needed to. If she was going to help him she needed to know more about this, but not right now. She knew what her role was now, but still hoped that the answers would come sooner than later. With a long sigh, she knew she needed to get her statement right through his thick skull, so she leaned in and hugged him, much more tenderly than when she arrived.

"Deku, you need to understand that we will always worry for you, all of us. We are your friends, almost like a second family. You will never be a burden nor dead weight. It will be worse if you don't let us help, so please just understand that you talking to us and needing to rely on your friends is okay, because we all relied on you before. That's what friends do." Before she knew it, she felt him wrap his right arm over her and hide his face on her neck, letting silent tears roll down his face, dampening the shoulder of her clothes, but she didn't mind. And although it was a truly sweet moment, there were pressing matters at hand that needed to be handled and even if Inko was staring contently at the unknowing teens, the doctor still had to make his announcement. With a clear of his throat and tapping his clipboard with his pen twice, they broke apart while Izuku dried his tears with his forearms. "Ms. Uraraka, you can stay if the Midoriya's are okay with it, but if not you need to leave."

Both greenettes gave a small nod to the doctor for him to continue, as they knew that Ochako would want to listen to the verdict herself and know how to act accordingly to help Izuku out as much as possible. "Well mister Midoriya, you already know you will be having therapy sessions with Ms Joke and they will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays starting Tuesday next week. We will also have adults keeping a close eye on you and you need to have someone close to you at all times except for sleeping. Lastly, your room will be checked to have no possible way of committing self injury." Izuku sighed in relief, knowing that this was the reasonable thing to do considering the predicament he found himself in. He still believed that maybe the world was a better place without him and that he only caused trouble for his friends, but this was a stepping stone in the right direction. "Also, medicine such as antidepressants is optional." He was clearly not expecting that, but knowing the negative side effect it could have on him and believing it was not ethically correct for him to take it, he had an answer immediately.

"No thank you" and just like that he was given the green light to leave the hospital as soon as the visiting hours would come to an end he would be sitting in the car with his mom in a pair of fresh clothes and heading to the comfort of his bed, even if he had been laying in one all day and had gotten plenty of sleep. However, that would have to wait, as he still had an hour until said time and Ochako had already argued against him to stay and eat dinner with him at the hospital. The loyalty she had shown today was something he only thought was real in stories. And what best way to pass time with your mother and crush that Inko was very aware of than to embarrass him as much as possible with stories of Izuku. "You won't believe how many times I fainted during the sports festival. When Izuku came back, he talked how amazing you were in your fight against Katsuki and you awesome plan, or how he had helped Todoroki use his fire during their fight. He went on and on on how cool his friends from U.A. are." Yes, this would be a long embarrassing hour for Izuku.

Heyo. So yeah, fluff and angst mixing, giving off some weird vibes but hey, you can't have it balanced out, or if not it would be too depressing. Also, sorry if you are against Izuku not taking antidepressants. It is something that I also denied when it was offered to me and that's because you just don't feel like yourself after taking the sort of pill that affects your brain in a drastic way. I could see it on my friends and they somewhat felt it too. Either way, I hope you had or have a fantastic day, remember you are all special and loved, and I'll be back tomorrow, but maybe not like you expect.
