My POV
We spent some hours with Gordon's old friend named Hans trying to convince him to be a better Coach and to apologize to the moms and dads for getting their kids to cheat."Yeahh, you definitely need to apologize to Mrs.Conway! especially Charlie." I said, looking over at him with a serious expression.
Bombay sighed slightly face palming. "Good god Sania, why you wanna go to Charlie's house so badly?" He asked chuckling.
I blushed softly and looked away, being a little embarrassed not wanting to tell him the reason.
"Ohh, do you like him Sania? Is this why you kept begging me to stop by his mom's house?" Bombay asked teasingly.
I pretended this is not why we came here so I gave him a disgusted look. "What?! No, Ew! Why would I come over here for that I-" I replied with my cheeks turning red.
"Mhm, I'll figure it out later." He says getting out the car walking towards the doorstep of the Apartment Complex going inside the place.
"Dude! you never wait on me." I said with a slight sigh, jumping out the car running towards him trying to catch up.
..
Bombay had looked at the Apartment number on the paper that somebody gave him.
"Is this it?" I asked just making sure.
He nodded. "I mean, it has the same number on the door.. so yeah this is it." He assured me.
Bombay sighed and slowly knocked on the door while I stood there playing with my fingers nervously.
I noticed Mrs.Conway peeked through the hole where you can see who was knocking.
He knocked again thinking nobody didn't hear him but she did, so she opened the door slowly.
Bombay looked at her frowning. "Hi, um..." he started to say but she cut him off.
"Please, just go away." Mrs.Conway said trying to sound nice and not come off as rude.
"Charlie doesn't want to be on the team anymore, and neither he nor I have anything to say to you." She lightly snapped at him.
I wasn't really shocked because I had quit too but when Bombay said he was gonna apologize for what he did, I returned back on the team so hopefully he can convince Charlie to come back as well.
"But Mrs.Conway wait! just hear him out first." I said as my eyes were begging with pleadingness.
He grabbed the door slowly and gently before She could close it. "Well, I have something to say to you." Bombay said softly.
She raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really? Door-to-door mistreatment now. Now the team can feel miserable between games too, huh?" She glared.
He looked down sadly. "I came to apologize to Charlie..." Bombay said in a guilty tone.
I cleared my throat and looked at him with my eyebrows raised. "Ahem!" I said nudging him because he forgot to say something else.
"To both of you." He corrected.
Mrs.Conway looked at him confused. "What?" She questioned.
I face palmed and sighed. "Didn't you hear what he just said? Lady." I asked laughing a little. (arichantel04 I'm so sassy oml-)
Bombay looked at her again, I could tell that he was in love with her. "Apologize." Bombay repeated again.
She looked at him giving him a blank expression. "Well...you should." Mrs.Conway said, opening the door wide open for us to come inside.
