Decided to post this as a little New Years' gift to you guys. Thank you to @_BilesBilinski  for giving me the courage to write and post this story.

We were running as fast as our ten-year-old legs could take us, Grover ahead of us. "We're almost at camp!" Suddenly something is heard from behind, a loud roar. Luke and I look back to see a tree being thrown our way.

"Look out!" The tree flies in front of us and lands on Grover. "Grover!" Annabeth yells. I run up to him and ask "Grover are you okay?" "My leg. It's stuck." We keep pulling until we get Grover free. "I got you," Luke says.

Then all of a sudden we hear Thalia say behind us in a calm voice "Keep going. I'll hold them off." We come up behind her, Luke holding Grover, and Annabeth says "No. No Thalia they'll kill you." We hear the loud footsteps and the low growls.

We can hear them ramming down trees in their path. Thalia gives her bag to me and says "Go, Stiles. Go and I'll be right behind you!" We see her run a bit away from us and take out her knife "Over here!" she yells and starts running in the opposite direction from us.

Grover and Luke start heading to the camp but Annabeth and I hesitate for a minute. "Annabeth, Stiles come on!"  We turn around and start running towards camp. I can hear Thalia yell in the distance "Stay back."

We make it to the gate and turn around to see two giant monsters creeping over to Thalia. One of them goes to scratch her but she cuts it with her knife. "Thalia come on!" Luke yells. She starts running towards but just as she's about to take a step, one of the monsters grabs her.

Right as they grab her, they throw her back away from everyone. "AHHHH!" "NOoOOo!" I hear Annabeth yell beside me. She goes to run after her but Luke and I hold her back "Thalia!" I turned everyone around and told them to go behind the gate, that it'd be okay.

I walked forward slightly to get a better look at Thalia and to call her to come but as I saw her land I knew she wasn't going to make it. I saw as she took deep breaths looking up at the sky. I looked up and saw the thunder clouds forming.

They seemed to come out of nowhere. I saw as Thalia stared up and took her last breath. I was about to turn back when something happened. Roots started coming from her finger and a tree sprouted from her stomach.

The tree grew and grew until it was as tall as all the others. We all saw as the tree emitted an energy and a barrier made itself around all of the camp, keeping out the monsters. I looked at where the tree sprouted for a second thinking of Thalia as a single tear came from my eyes.

I wiped it away and ran back to the others and ran into camp until we were sure we were safe.

I woke up taking a deep breath, tears wanting to come from my eyes but I don't let them. I dream of that night a lot. I miss her so much, she was my best friend along with Annabeth. They said that the tree was Zeus' way of finding another way for Thalia to live.

A way for half-bloods to live, a gift. To ensure that no one in camp half-blood would die the same way. They said that the barrier was to protect us from those who lived for our death. Every day I think about Thalia.

Every day her bravery inspires me, it always has, always will. And her tree protects my home and the home of many other half-bloods. A lot has happened since that day. To me and to the demigod world.

I've met a lot of new friends and am still with some old ones. You see, the Gods of Olympus are real. And sometimes these gods have children with humans called half-bloods or demigods. I'm one of them. I'm Stiles Stilinski. Son of Athena, Goddess of wisdom and battle strategy.

I have a half-sister. Her name is Annabeth Chase. And I promise you that I won't need to do anything for her to squash you like a bug. She has a boyfriend, who is also one of my best friends. Percy Jackson.

She doesn't know about the supernatural world just like my friends from Beacon Hills don't know about the Greek world. I want to keep them safe because both worlds have their own dangers, no need to add something else into the mix.

I want to keep them all safe and I planned to keep it that way but as I have come to find out, nothing ever goes as planned for me.

As you can tell I switched up the introductory scene to 'Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters'. I think I did pretty well for a prologue chapter.
Anyway, I hope ya'll like this. Happy New Year, much love. 🎊💕✌️
