Jan. 1st, 2007 at 11:40 p.m I was born. I was born at Cape Girardeau Missouri at a hospital near by. My life had official started. Obviously I do not remember anything from these special moments but I can guess everyone was very thrilled for me to be here.

My mother was a very special woman I've been told and she was very kind hearted and extremely talented. But two weeks after my birth she became very sick.

She went to the doctor and was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. A disease that effects less than 200,00 people a year. She soon became very sick and had to be admitted to the hospital leaving me with my grandparents and great grandparents.

Oh how I love them so much. As a baby I would stay with my great grandparents while my grandmother would stay with my sick mom. She had to quit her job to stay with her leaving only my grandfather working. My grandmother was completely heartbroken. My mother was her only child and she loved her so such she couldn't bare to see her like that.

After 10 months my mother died in late October, leaving me with my grandparents. I had a father but my mother and him were not in love anymore after she got sick. He had other children he couldn't support because of the fact he never wanted to work.

My mother made the decision to leave me with my grandparents. I couldn't understand anything obviously then but I was an extremely happy child, and an extremely smart one too. I loved to read and play. My family was so important to me even at a young age.

A year or two passed by and I was an advanced child for my age, being able to read and write very early. I was a pretty independent child when it came to learning how to do things.

My grandmother babied me a lot tho, she still does now. But still I loved to be alone at times and also in the company of my grandparents.

Soon enough time came for my grandmother to go back to work. I wasn't very happy about that. Up until then she was always right there for me and now I'd have to go to daycare since my other family members were too old or too faraway to come everyday to take care of me.

I still remember that first day she dropped me off to go. I just cried and cried because I was away from her and I wasn't even sure what was happening. Finally after awhile of me begging for her to stay she left me there and i ended up having fun. Such a drama queen I know.

For the next year I kept going there until it was time for me to go to school.
