"I apologize for the disturbance, but it is time for you to wake up" I knew exactly who it was, but I still stretched my arm out of the duvet and tried waving around after a clock I could knock down to make it be quiet. "I am afraid that your time to rest is at an end" I tried to ignore the sound and turned around and stuck my head aswell under the duvet to try to get some more sleep because I was far from ready to get up.
"I must insist that you wake up" and straight after that someone pulled the duvet of me while I tried to get a grip of it to drag it over my body but it was unsuccessful. I opened my eyes and stared right into Pepper's face.
"Thank you Jarvis" I heard Pepper say before turning to me again "Evangeline Stark, the clock is now 8:30 AM. You have thirty minutes to get ready to get ready and meet Tony and me downstairs to discuss the day." Pepper turned around and started walking out of the room, "I expect you downstairs in thirty minutes young lady." and then she left the room, I grumped and walked into the bathroom to get myself ready for the day before heading down the stairs and in to the kitchen were Tony already had arrived.
I sat down and got a bowl, picked my cereal and started eating. "Morning Evangeline" I replied with an easy morning back at him while I continued eating. Suddenly Tony sat down at the opposite side of the table and started talking before Pepper also came and sat beside Tony. They both looked at me "What?" I said looking questioning at them. "Well, we thought that you are meeting the others today" I raised an eyebrow at them. "Th...theee...the others?" I stuttered. Starting to feel a little unwell and had to look down on the table, I just did not know how to react. I continued eating before raising up and walking towards the sink to place my bowl, before I turned around and said "I will agree meeting the others, but on one condition" I stared right into Tony's eyes. "No, and I mean NO questions and no mention about my past" I saw Tony nod "I'm just going upstairs to make myself ready" I turned back around and went towards the stairs and up to my room to get on a better outfit which turned out to be some skinny ripped jeans, a hoodie and putting my hair up in a ponytail before applying just a tiny bit of makeup to look a little bit better.
I went back downstairs to meet Pepper "You ready?" I nodded slightly and followed her into the living room. When I walked in everyone turned and looked at me, and I could honestly feel my pulse raising. "And this is our daughter Evangeline, why don't you come here?" I walked slowly trying not to make any eye contact. Tony leaned over to me and whispered "I have told them not to ask any questions" I looked up and stared into Peppers eyes and saw that she was smiling, clearly she was proud. "And this is our daughter Evangeline" Tony presented me. I just raised my hand as a hi.
"Can I go back down now?" I whispered in Tony's ear and waited for him to nod as a respond, I walked back to Pepper and we went outside.
