Repetitive buzzing startled George awake. He rubbed his eyes and sat up in bed. It was still dark and his phone read three am. He also noticed four missed calls from Fundy and a message saying please call me urgent.
George's eyes hurt from the bright light as he rolled over and turned on his phone. What could Fundy possibly want at this time. He groaned and called Fundy back.
There was no hesitation before Fundy answered.

"George hello?" He whispered desperately. His voice was wobbly.

"Hi, what's up?" George said trying to change his tone. He never liked Fundy very much and he was always jealous for some reason so he didn't sound very happy after being called so early in the morning.

"Hey I'm sorry I called you so early I hope I didn't wake you up but I really need to talk, is that ok?" He sounded rushed and nervous. George sighed.

"That's fine Fundy, go ahead what's wrong?" George asked, rolling over onto his back and staring at the ceiling.

"Well nothings wrong I mean it's just a bit strange." He said. His heavy breathing was obvious through the phone.

"Just tell me what happened" George pleaded, wanting to go back to sleep.

"Ok sorry" he said. "So basically I had a dream just now, I had to force myself awake because.. Um I was kinda confused but I understand now" George was even more confused. What kind of dream would make Fundy call him so fast.

"Anyway the dream. Um this is gonna be awkward" he stuttered. George was becoming impatient. Can he just hurry up. He thought.

"Go on, I'm listening" George sighed.

"Thanks, ok so I had a Dream, I was in a field and there was someone there, in the distance" Fundy shivered through the phone. So did George. He was repeating George's dream. The Dream that had made George fall in love. His exact words he had spilled to Sapnap through the phone.

"The person came closer to me. I saw it's face... his face, you know, cause I'm bi but anyway.... it... it was Dream" George dropped his phone. His hands were shaking and his heart was beating faster. The room seemed to get colder as if a window was open. He quickly searched his blankets in the dark to find his phone and held it back to his ear. Desperate to hear Fundy day he was lying. To hear that it was a Joke.

"George? Hello are you there?" this couldn't be real.

"Yeah sorry my phone slipped, c... carry on" George stuttered. His heart was beating in his throat.

Fundy sighed "Where was I? Oh yea um it was Dream. He was standing right there on the field and... and then we kissed. And it felt like heaven, you wouldn't understand" he whispered at George. George wanted to hang up, to believe that this was a Dream, that Fundy was lying. But he was frozen and unable to speak. His breath caught. He couldn't breath. The anger he felt for Fundy. The jealousy, it was overwhelming.

"I think, I think something clicked when I first saw him at the airport" Fundy whispered. George felt a tear in his eye. Jealousy had already overtaken him and now he was purely mad. Fundy was so much fitter, bigger and more perfect than George in every way which made him know that Dream would most definitely choose Fundy over him.

"I think I'm falling for him George" Fundy said. His voice sounded shakey. George couldn't take it any longer. He hung up and threw his phone across the room. A tear slid down his cheek and he sobbed into a pillow. Not the one the one that smelled of Dream. He couldn't think of Dream without thinking of Fundy. Pain throbbed in his chest.

George fell asleep half an hour later after letting the cold salty tears drip down his face and neck. The pillow underneath him with wet spots of tears.
