After the war things changed. Friendships were formed, feuds were ended, and unlikely couples were born. The most unlikely of them being Draco Malfoy and Ron Weasley. They've been together for nine years and married for seven.
Despite surviving a war Draco and Ron's biggest challenge was adopting. They've considered surrogacy, but unfortunately, it'd be hard to know if the woman would hand over the baby at the end of the pregnancy. Ron suggested Hermione, but Draco didn't feel comfortable about Ron's ex being the biological mother of their child.
After discussing it over time they've settled on not wanting a baby and decided to adopt a boy. Unfortunately, it was very hard to adopt. Given the small community in the wizarding world whenever someone dies there's usually a family member or godparent willing to take the child in.
"Draco maybe it's time to branch out," Ron said. "What do you mean?" Draco asked. He was surprisingly Draco was more disappointed about the constant adoption failures than Ron. "I've talked to Hermione and found a nine-year-old muggle-born boy who needs adopting," he said handing him a picture.
He wondered what Draco would think. He knew Draco didn't have any prejudice towards muggle-borns. If he did he wouldn't have married him.
Draco took a long look at the boy. He seemed like a good kid. The file Hermione retrieved said the boy's name was Ace Jones. He was passionate about music, video games, and baking, and can do many things by himself. He was a bit tall, had Cocoa skin, with a curly fade, and Silver eyes. They pierced like diamonds. "We need to hurry," Draco said. He wanted to meet the boy as soon as possible.

"And that's how you play 'Killer Queen' by Queen on the piano." Ace said with a bow. Draco wasn't acquainted with most muggle music, but the way he played the piano was like dancing on his ears.
"We'll get you a piano in the room have waiting for you," Draco said. Ron gave Draco an 'Are you serious?' look. Ron believed a nine-year-old having a piano in his room was ridiculous. Draco shot a look back a 'We've been wanting a child for years and I want to make up for lost time Ronald.' look.
"That sounds good but the thing is I can't leave without my little sister." Ace said. "Wait the file said nothing about a sister," Ron said. He suddenly realized there's a chance she may be a squib. Could explain why she wasn't in the file. "I can't leave without her. That's a shame. I thought we were getting along." Ace sighed.
Draco smirked, he could tell the child was trying to manipulate them. He admired his slyness for his age.
Ron couldn't break up siblings. Especially considering how many he had and the one he lost.
"We should get her adoption papers as well," Ron said. They were able to get approval due to a few squibs recommending them for private adoption. Finally, after waiting so long they've had children.
Ace immediately handed him her file. Her name was Ramona Jones. She was a seven-year-old born on May 12th. She had dark eyes, dark skin, french braids with curly ends. She was passionate about animals, crafts, and martial arts.
"She's a little rowdy, but she's sweet and I do her hair." Ace said. He was very loyal to his sister. He had three chances to be adopted but refused to be adopted without her. He even sabotages his interview before.
