This chapter and the next chapter
happened before and during Hades and Percy's scene.
Percy's Mothers POV
(Ya, I went there ;)
"You'll never get away with this!" I kept yelling at hades. Gods, Posiedon was right.
"Oh but I will" He said smirking.
As I was wiggling and trying to find a way out of these magic ropes, Hades started his call with Percy.
"Percy, don't listen to him, don't , PERCY." I screamed, even though I knew that he can't hear me. Hades made sure the call would be one on one so he programmed it so that Percy won't hear me. But I did it anyways so that Hades won't be suspicious about me being so quiet.
I remembered when Poseidon were first dating, we got into so much situations with the gods. (That's why we decided that when Percy was older, we would spare him from that) So he taught me how to get free of these.
Magic underworld ropes are made so that the more you struggle or worry or fear, the tighter and sharper it gets. the stiller you are, the thinner the rope and the spikes start to disappear. So after Hades was done with the call, I looked him in the eye calmly and stilly and said.
"You won't get away with this"
"Oh but I have" he said.
"Thanks for predicting the future for me, toodles!" I said breaking free of the ropes and dodging the helldogs that we're chasing me. But the only thing I could think about right now is Percy.
"Son, wherever you are, I hope you're okay."
