Ever since nightmare was a kid, his parents would often fight with each other, him and his brother were upset because of it, sometimes he made his brother dream wear headphones so he wouldn't let his brother hear the fight going on between them.
Until their parents had a divorce, but after thier divorce, they were a bit lonely, so dream and nightmare decided that they should have step-parents, nightmare told dream to look for a fiancé for thier dad, while searched a fiancé for thier mom, after a few months of searching.
They finally found the fitting step-parents they had, thier step-mom is a very caring and gentle woman who loves flowers, as for their step-father he is a bit clumsy, but he is funny loving, and even strong, and their parents were very happy, even dream and nightmare are also happy they actually get to have four parents, two biological parents and two step-parents.

After all that, they started making that only matchmakers are allowed to be there, nightmare is now 20 years old while dream is 18 years old. And this is where the story begins......
