A/N: This book has passed the 400k word count, I can't believe we've made it this far LOLLLLL! A lot of new readers have come about recently, but I've been wanting to go back to the older chapters and edit them. I cringe when I read some of the things I wrote, like, girl who let you write this? Anyways I'm going to upload the first couple chapters for my new SasuSaku fic very soon, maybe mid August so stay tuned for that!
Love you all! MUAH!

Saving Sakura. What a strange thing that couldn't role off of Anko's tongue, even with the remaining will power she had in her. She was always sharp-witted when it came to the battlefield─ having already survived many, she knew how to conduct head counts and strategize. She was an even better torturer when it came to interrogation, but no one appeased her for that.

She lacked one thing, however, that could have made her into a well-rounded Kunoichi; medical Ninjutsu. Tsunade was the best in Fire Country─ in all the countries, actually.

But she knew that neither she nor Tsunade could save Sakura from her attempted suicide.

Although, when hearing the truth from someone else, it hurt more than what it already did.

She leaned against the wall Kakashi's seat was beside, sliding herself down until her bum hit the floor. She couldn't find it in herself to talk about Sakura, she couldn't find it in herself to talk about Idate either─ so she resulted in something else. "Kakashi, Obito is─ dammit!"

She couldn't find it in herself to talk about him, either.

Kakashi would have responded to her if he heard, but he didn't. Obito was a foreign name to him when Sakura's was the only one his brain knew of, the name that he cried out when she fell limp with his hand wedged into her small chest.

He hated the sight of her now. What was once beautiful pink hair only tainted his memories with pain.

A ghost of Sakura emerged in front of him, kneeling down and placing the side of her face against his knee, staring up into his eyes in full wonder. She giggled too, with blood running down her chest and painting the clothes he'd bought her crimson. Her ghost just kept giggling, creating a mockery of his now shaken body.

"Kakashi, can you hear me?"

Sakura's ghost whispered something to him, which he couldn't hear, but her lips moved clear enough for him to decipher. Listen to her, Kakashi-san. Please, for me?

"Two days, right?" he said, completely unrelated to anything she'd just told him.

Anko placed a hand onto his shoulder and slowly caressed it. "Right."

He sighed and wondered what he could do in the next two days for Sakura. She was going to be in a hospital bed for the rest of her time in this world, but worst of all, how could he face her with broad shoulders knowing that she wanted to kill herself? And that she used him as a means to her end?

"We need to make her last hours the best they can be." he began, but wished he hadn't spoke because Sakura's soothing ghost disappeared as soon as he'd said it. "So let all of your frustrations out now."

Itachi and Hidan returned with bandaged messily wrapped around the latter's torso. Had this been a day ago, everyone would have been worried for Hidan and asked if he was okay. But today, no one had the need to.

An immortal man wanting to commit suicide was all there was to it. And judging by Itachi's bloodshot eyes, his best friend was able to save him before it was too late. Strange, wasn't it? None of them could do that for Sakura.
