Cute Family Moments Part 1

Happy late late late Christmas! I meant to post this as a Christmas gift but I got busy with my own stuff. So sorry! I'm still rewriting the previous parts but I wanted to give you guys a new chapter for the holidays, I guess this can count an early new year's gift too, if I can in time there's a possible special gift coming soon.

This man loves his family from his beloved wife to his stepdaughter, he even holds familial love for his ex-wife. Johnny gets along greatly with your family too, your brothers like Johnny a lot since he's way better than your ex-boyfriend and he's a great guy. Tyler and him are practically buddies since they are both jokesters, Morgan actually helps Johnny with his assets and any movies Johnny has in he helps with all the promotional and business things letting tons of money roll in. Then your parents adore Johnny, he's nice, family oriented, funny they were charmed by him. Plus how he loves Calliope as his own and how kind he treats her practically won your family over.

And that your parents also have an age gap too, your dad sixty-five and your mom is fifty-four. They aren't bothered by you, a woman in her mid-thirties, and Johnny, a man in his fifties, being together. As long you're happy, then they're happy.

Your family even love Cassie and Sonya, to them it's just more people to love. So Johnny and you have a close family and love spending time together.

Today the Cage family were relaxing as Johnny had the weekend off from the Special Forces and Calliope had school out for a few days due to a school holiday. Johnny was watching cartoons on the t.v with Claude on his lap, Calliope was on her laptop watching a video of the dance she was learning from her dance class. You were watching the dance video Calliope was learning since she asked for help, the assignment was to dance any dance style of the student's choice. Calliope picked electro swing since she always thought swing dancing was fun.

Your ten year baby asked you for help since as a singer you learned a few dance styles, including swing. After watching the dance Calliope was trying to do it but she kept missing a few steps. After a fifth attempt to get it right, Calliope huffed annoyed. She was a great dancer and usually gets it easily but it seems today her feet are not listening. You smile as you walk over to her. "Oh baby that was pretty good! You did so good, your leg movement was amazing." You spoke words of encouragement and compliments to your daughter since you knew how she feels, and plus when learning something new one should also encourage others. Your parents always say some nice words can go a long way.

"But mama, I still messed up. I want to get this perfectly but I keep missing some steps."

Calliope then flopped on the couch almost hitting Johnny and Claude. Johnny looked over to see his stepdaughter frustrated as his sweet wife tried to get Calliope to be positive. "Oh sweetie it's fine! No one gets it perfectly the first time, I mess up when I'm learning new dance moves. Your Uncle Tyler sometimes messes up his lines or stunts when he's doing movies, Uncle Morgan had made bad investments and business before, even grandpa messed up a few times. You'll just get up and keep trying, it just makes you get better."

"But mama I'm the top of the class and I rarely mess up! Everyone expects me to do the best since I'm a (L/n), and '𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺' is what everyone thinks. I can't disappoint my class and plus you and great grandma make it easy."

You sigh and get it, due to your family's being lucky and making it big it became expected one is successful in their field. You can remember the times teachers, managers, and even your piece of shit you called ex-boyfriend all said this to you. They often compare you to your grandma which at times made you feel inferior but your family always helped you when you felt down, more so after leaving Brennan and locking him up. "Because I keep trying, I make it look easy because the videos don't show when I mess up."
