Patient Zero

The Beginning

After all this time, the fighting the Hargreeves children went through finally paid off and they could finally rest, they've fixed their timeline as they needed to and everything was normal, or so they thought. 

As they sat for breakfast as they always had done, they stayed deadly silent until Klaus broke it,

"Well let's all raise a toast to being normal?" He stood and raised his half-empty glass of orange juice

All the others lazily raised their glasses and a few rolled their eyes, Vanya spoke

"We won't ever be normal, I mean come on guys, we brought Pogo back after I..." she trailed off

"Ah yes, after you went crazy with the powers." Diego pitched in, Vanya only gave him a dirty look.

Pogo walked into the dining room, "Good morning children, we have some things to discuss about today's events." 

They all gave him a confused look but turned to listen.

"Today someone is coming, and don't be alarmed on their arrival, they may be disoriented and scared, but we just treat them with respect and be nice, they've come along way." HE looked to the window briefly before a flash of bright white light came from the same courtyard Five had come through 2 weeks prior. 

Everyone ran out to the courtyard confused and slightly panicked, when they got outside they saw a girl in  uniform frantically looking around 

Grace followed everyone out and saw the girl, "Oh my! Y/N you're home!"

The girl whipped around to look at Grace and smiled happily before running into her arms, "How long have I been gone?" 

"45 years 5 months and 24 days, Miss Y/N." Pogo responded

Y/N turned to Pogo, "Really? That long?" 

All he did was nod his head then gesture to the others standing by them, "Y/N i want you to meet the umbrella academy, This is Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Five, and Vanya, they are numbers 1 through 7 with the exception of 6." 

Y/N looked to all of them and nodded her head then looked to an empty space, "And who may you be?"

Ben was taken back for a moment and looked around to point at himself, "Are you talking to me?" She nodded her head at him, "You can see me and hear me!?" she nodded again, "Well um.. I-I'm Ben, I'm number 6." she smiled to him, "It's lovely to meet you Ben." she smiled and looked to the others, "It's lovely to meet you all, I haven't properly introduced myself, In Y/N L/N, and I'm Zero."
