Chanyeol looked at himself over and over in the mirror, checking his attire. He was preparing himself for his first day as the intern at J2ML. He had worn a baby blue mandarin collared shirt, beige pants, white shoes, the guitar bracelet that Mae had given him, and his favorite watch. He took deep breaths a couple times before sighing and losing his confidence again, for the umpteenth time.

"Chanyeol-ah, don't sigh so much; you look perfect. You can do this! Out of so many candidates, you've been chosen to be one of the interns. Surely they must have seen your caliber. Don't worry too much. Be as confident on your first day as you were in your interview. Okay?" Kyungsoo lay on his bed, phone in hand, texting Jayline.

"I'm trying, Kyungsoo-ya. But I can't get rid of this nervousness." Chanyeol pouted, looking like he would have a mental breakdown any minute now.

DKS: I think Chanyeol might just have a breakdown now.

JW: Call Mae and ask her to talk to him. She'll be able to calm him down. :V

As asked, Kyungsoo video called Mae. The girl answered at the fourth ring.

"Annyeong, DO-ya." Came her voice through.

"Annyeong. Are you free Seung Mae-ya?"

"Ne."

"Talk to your boyfriend; he's freaking out about his interview."

DO chuckled before turning his phone around to face Chanyeol.

"Yah, Park Chanyeol, talk to your girlfriend."

"What? You called Mae? Aaa!" Chanyeol quickly turned around and grabbed DO's phone. "Mae!"

"You're looking nice," Mae smiled.

"You think so?" Chanyeol's nervousness receded a bit after hearing Mae's words.

"Mhmm! Perfect for the first day! Chanyeol-ah, you'll do great; I believe in you! You've already crossed the first stage and got the internship. Now all you need to do is focus on getting better. It's okay if you make a mistake. Just rectify yourself and work harder. I'm sure they'll love your perseverance, bubbly personality and intelligence. Fighting, Chanyeol-ah!" Mae beamed, giving finger hearts to Chanyeol.

Chanyeol pouted and puffed his cheeks; he felt so glad and emotional that he almost wanted to cry. "Mae~" he whined. Since the day he had asked Mae to be his girlfriend, he felt grateful every single day to have such an amazing and supportive girl in his life. She was more than just his girlfriend; she supported his dreams, always cheered him on, listened to what he had to say, and patiently taught him the right things if he did anything wrong. He felt like the luckiest guy in the world. "Gomawo, Mae-ah! Saranghae! Jinjja neomu neomu saranghae! (Thank you, Mae! I love you! I love you a lot!)"

"Nado saranghae, (I love you too)," Mae beamed, blowing a flying kiss from the other end of the line, which Chanyeol caught and pretended to keep it safe in his pocket.

"Tch, sickeningly cute," DO chuckled under his breath.

"Okay then, Chanyeol-ah. Jay wishes you luck! Go safely and let me know when you reach there! Fighting!"

"Alright, thanks, Jay! You take care of yourself, Mae. I'll see you when I come back. Okay?"

"Okay! Annyeong!"

"Annyeong!" Chanyeol waved his hand in front of the screen, disconnecting the call. He felt very light and confident after talking to Mae. She was right; he could do it.
