North Carolina Summer Love

Chapter 1

Just got off the plane to North Carolina! It's a family trip thing but we all got to bring 2 friends each. How rude am I? I forgot to introduce my family and friends. I went on my trip with my mom, dad, sister, brother & my parents friends along with their son. my brother came with his girlfriend, my sister came with her 2 friends, meanwhile I came with my 2 friends Samantha & Shae! We spent a lot of hours in a metal tube up in the air but now we are finally here. we get to our hotel, unpack, take a look around, get our bikini tops and shorts on and head to the beach! The water was crisp and cold but the sun was super hot...and so were some of the guys! Day 2 came around pretty quick. my brother and his GF went off somewhere on a date & of corse the parents hit the bar. Bottoms up! My sister and her bff's went to the gifts shops and the beach. My parents friend's son (Collin) was so bored of being by himself. He didn't know that we were all bringing someone to hang with so he had nothing to do. "Hey, you guys. Are you doing anything today?" He asked us. "Just this." I said. Us girls just sat on the chairs & beds complaining about the heat. Since our air conditioning broke we didn't have and cool air in our hotel room, which sucked! "So what do you wanna do then?" Collin asked us all. I replied with... " We have nothing but time to kill, so let's get out of the hotel room." We got dressed, did our makeup & hair, brushed our teeth and we were out the door. We didn't really know what we were doing yet , but I sorta had a plan. "We could go to the mall I guess... I don't really know. I offered "Sure! But how are we going get there?" Shae asked Collin. Beep, Beep! A black truck pulled up with Collin driving it. "Hop in girls!!!" Collin yelled. " Can he even drive yet?" Samantha whispered. "Yeah, he's 17 & he has his drivers licence." I whispered back. " I rented this baby for 3 weeks! We could go anywhere!" Collin shouted in excitement. We arrived at the mall and jumped out of the huge truck. Collin told us that he was going to go park the truck & he'll inside but we had to meet him back at a certain entrance of the mall at 4:00. We understood that and we would be back at the time he told us to be back at. "LETS GO!" Samantha yelled as we walked through the glass doors of the mall! We all loved shopping but not as much as Samantha. We have been planning this trip for a while so we had a lot of money saved up. 2 hours gone by already. Our next stores were Aeropostale, Bath & Body Works, Bebe, Forever 21, Hollister, Hot Topic, Icing, Macys & Journeys. We went to all of those stores except for Journeys. Time was running out so we had to get back to the entrance fast! We had a small problem... We were lost. " Which way do we go?" Shae asked me. "Idk... What about those people... Go ask them." I told her. "No! I don't even know them and I don't wanna be the one to explain that we got lost in the mall!" She said. "Okay fine I'll go then." I replied. I walked up to a woman with a 5 or 6 year old with straight, blond hair. I thought I recognized the little girl. I asked the woman where we could go but she was paying for something and she was busy at the moment. She called her son on her phone. "Hi. Some girls are lost and it's their 1st time here so may you please come back to Journeys and lead them their way back to the entrance of the mall? Don't worry I don't think their the fan-girling type" She said. She got off her phone and told me that her son was on his way back from a different store so that he could show us our way back to where we entered from. I thought it was strange how she explained that we were "not a fan-girling type" A hottie wearing khaki shorts and an Aeropostale T-Shirt walked into Journeys Shoe Store. "You and your friends got lost?" He asked me. "Yeah...kinda embarrassing." He laughed and said " I'll bring you and your friends back to the mall entrance."
"Okay, Thanks!" I said sounding very nervous. I knew who he was but I just wanted to keep my cool. We stopped walking for a minute. "I'm a bit late but I'm Hayes." He told me, staring at my eyes with his piercing blue ones. "I'm late too but my name is Cassidy by the way." We both laughed. "Okay guys, this is" Samantha cut me off "HAYES GRIER!!!!!!!!!!!!" Samantha yelled. Maybe my mom was wrong thought Hayes. "Is she the fan-girling type?" Pointing to Samantha. "Yup." I answered back. We walked to the entrance from where we came in from and saw Collin sitting on the bench with his serious face on. "Where we're you guys? I was worried! And who is he?" He said with a raised voice looking very confused. "If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't be here at all." I said. "Alright let's go" I tried to get a long look at Hayes before I had to go but Collin didn't agree. "NOW!" He seemed totally mad at me for nothing. I started making my way toward the door following Collin, looking back at Hayes 1 last time. "Wait! You forgot something!" Hayes yelled. I turned around fast and walked up to hayes quickly. "You forgot to give me your number Hun." Hayes told me quickly. I have his number now so I smiled at Hayes and turned around to meet up with the girls and Collin. "Call me!" He stood there with is hands in his pockets, smiling at me and nodding his head while answering my question..."Yes." I got in the truck and Collin drove away fast. "Your falling for him pretty hard huh?" He asked me still with the mad tone in his voice. "I guess so" I said quiet but loud enough for him to hear me. "Well you shouldn't okay! He's not a good influence for you or anyone! Stay away from him! Got it?!" He turned around and yelled at me. CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!
