The wedding is tomorrow. A day had passed since George had fallen asleep in Dreams arms. He had been quietly kissed awake in the morning by Dream telling him that he was going back to his room in case anyone caught them together. It was a night George would never forget. That day Dream had also gone out shopping with the three of them for a cheap wedding dress (As Dream thought it would be funny to wear a dress and Fundy had agreed to wear a tuxedo). He bought a long white one and a veil to match it. George had pictured how good Dream would look in it and was a little more excited for the wedding.

Now the four of them sat opposite on Dreams couches, staring at their phones in silence. Each of them reading through social media to see how fans were reacting. Most of them were sad that no one had streamed in ages.

George sat scrolling through Twitter. He came across a tweet of Fundys and decided to look through is page for a bit. His eyes moved up and down, scanning Fundys Twitter for suspicious messages or anything that could be hinting about his crush on Dream. Surely it would go away soon. George glanced up from his phone and looked across the room at Dream. He could see his fingers quickly typing a message then waiting a moment for a reply before typing again. His fingers moved across the screen elegantly. Suddenly his face went slightly pale and he froze while his eyes moved down his phone. George froze too, wondering who was messaging Dream and what they were talking about. George kept watching as Dreams facial expressions changed quickly as he tried to read it. Dream quickly looked up and George attempted to look away before they could make eye contact but it was too late. Dream had caught George staring again. He held his breath. They held eye contact for a while before Dream blushed and looked back at his phone. He desperately wanted to know what unexpected message could have made him pause and look up.

No one talked much the rest of the day. Nervousness and excitement filled the air around them due to the wedding that was taking place tomorrow. Dream was now sitting at his computer messaging the group chat directions to the building he had hired for tomorrow and George was sitting at the kitchen table. He looked around the house for something to do and his eyes caught on an object. Dreams phone. He seized his chance, making sure the Dream was busy on his computer, he silently pushed out of the chair and tiptoed over to the bench. There lay Dreams phone. A rush of excitement filled George's body and he quickly glanced over at Dream again double checking that he couldn't see George.
His fingers shook as he turned on Dreams phone. He was so careless that he didn't even bother to put a password on it.
Slowly his thumb moved towards the messages icon. Goosebumps popped up on his arms and legs as he read his latest messages. They were from Fundy. George froze and stared at the screen. The words that jumped out at him made him shiver and brought a tear of anger to his eye. The messages read:

Hey Dream I've got something to tell you - F

Sure what do you need? - D

I have a confession that I have been wanting to tell you for while - F

A confession? - D

Dream, I recently came out bi and I only did for one reason. It's because I like you Dream. And I want to get closer. More than just friends. And when i saw you at the airport I think I fell in love. - F

Fundy, I'm really sorry but I have my eyes on someone else right now. But we can still get closer as friends if that makes you feel better :) - D

Okay, but just remember about how I feel Dream. Maybe you'll change your mind after the wedding x - F

We'll see, I gotta go now Fundy. - D

K bye - F

George felt the hot tear slip down his cheek. It burnt into his skin like lava. How could Fundy be so stupid and selfish. Messaging Dream like that to confess his love. It was so obviously fake. George couldn't even say it to Dream. And the confidence in Fundys messages sent a shiver down his spine. He sounded so sure that he could win Dreams heart and with all his perfections that over rid George's existence it was almost certain that Dream would fall in Fundys direction over his.

He turned Dreams phone off and ran to his room. Hiding his face as he paced through the living room so that Dream couldn't see the tears. He felt as if his emotions had taken over him. Was he being to dramatic?

His limp body collapsed onto the bed as he shook, tears falling into the pillow. He was back in the place he was once before when Dream had come in and comforted him. It was painful to remember that night. The love he felt for Dream that might never be a possibility when someone so much better than him would win the competition. Even if his love was fake. How would George prove himself to Dream. That's what scared him. That's what made his tears fall faster. His sobbing was silent. He didn't want Dreams comfort, as much as he needed it.
The images flashed through his head. Pictures of Dream and Fundy. Kissing and holding each other as George stood there watching them. He could see Dream looking at George, telling him he wasn't good enough. He never will be. The thoughts stabbed his heart. Ripping him to shreds. He was in too much pain to cry.
George sat up. His head leaned back onto the wall behind him. The room was a blur. His cheeks were pink. The mirror on the door reflected his blotchy face. It was an ugly mess of his little fit. His pillow was still soaked and he smelled of salt. What had become of him. He was an ugly mess that Dream would never love.

Slowly, after a while of pushing away the bad thoughts he got up out of bed. Dream was no longer sitting at the computer. George wondered where he had gone. He slumped into the bathroom and flicked the light on. The reflection that took up the mirror was a mess. His hair was ruffled to the side and he looked like he hadn't slept in days.
Cold water was a refreshment to his hot face, he washed away the memories of the messages he had read, wishing he never did.
Suddenly the door opened. George quickly wiped his face, hoping he looked more presentable. He turned to see Technoblade.

"Hey" he said in his usual monotone voice.

"Hi" George whispered back. He felt his voice braking. He looked back into the mirror and sighed.

"You look like shit" he said and laughed at George. "What happened, scared about the wedding" he laughed again as George pushed his way out of the bathroom, leaving Techno staring at him. "Sorry" he called after George.

George had forgotten about the wedding. In all the events of the day he had forgotten. Fundy would make a move tomorrow and George could lose Dream forever. He couldn't let it happen. The wedding was meant to be a fun part of the smp plot. Not whatever was going to happen. He sighed and walked into the kitchen. Dream and Sapnap were sitting at the table talking and stopped when George walked in. Dream had made dinner and even though it tasted disgusting. Unlike anything George had ever made. He made sure to compliment every part of it even after weird looks from Sapnap. George couldn't keep eye contact with Dream and after a silent dinner he crept to bed without anyone noticing. He pulled the pillow that was slowly losing its scent of Dream closer tonight, replaying the memories of their kiss. It calmed him.
