Christmas christmas christmas. That's all I've been hearing lately. Macy was so excited, since she was still in on the whole 'Santa' thing. Don't worry, I'm not saying he isn't real. I was getting sick about hearing of Christmas until the night before; December 24th, Christmas eve.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited, but I have everything I need. There are a few necessities, and I know my mom is getting me that iPhone she promised me. So, I guess you could say I was now excited.

"Avery! I drew you a picture!" Macy walked in from the kitchen, carrying a piece of paper that I assumed was my picture. She looked very confident, and was wearing a santa hat.

"Aww, can I see it?" She nodded and handed it over. It was a lovely picture or Santa climbing down the chimney into a house. Let me say, I was actually quite impressed.

"Thanks, Macy! I love it!" I hugged her and she skipped back to the kitchen.

She came back a few minutes later.

"I'm so excited for Christmas! I can't wait for Santa to come! How about you?" She had a smile so big that it looked painful.

"I know Macy, it's exciting. What are you asking for again?"

"Um...the Barbie house, new dolls, in pink of course, pink clothes, pink everything!" She twirled around in her pink dress. I laughed. "Predictable."

"Hey!" She put her hands on her hips.

"Okay, sorry sorry." My hands rose up in defense. Just then, Kyle walked in.

"What do you want for Christmas Kyle?"

"Halo 4, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, um, I don't know." So, basically anything video game related. It's surprisingly not too hard to shop for him.

~Fast forward a few hours~

It was 11:00 at night. Macy was in bed, and me and Kyle were heading there. I was really excited, and probably wont get too much sleep, considering it's Christmas Eve night. I could barely keep my eyes open as I walked up the stairs.

I wonder what 'Santa' will bring me. I'm not a picky kid (ahem, 16 year old), so I'd be happy with pretty much anything. My parents are lucky all of us are like that, and none of us are spoiled brats.

~The Next Morning~

I can't believe it's Christmas morning! The whole holiday season approached so quickly, almost too quickly. I'll almost be sad when it's over. But, I wont miss all of the Christmas movie re runs. Okay, maybe some of them.

We weren't aloud to get out of bed until 9:00, because Macy wakes my parents up early on a regular basis. Right now, I can actually hear her complaining to my parents.

Around 8:30, Macy came into my room and said we were aloud to open our stockings. She got Kyle before I could get out bed, and we all went downstairs.

Presents were flooding the house. Like, literally. There looked to be about 50, which is a lot for presents. Our stockings were filled to the brim, with presents, candy canes, chocolate, everything you could think of.

After about 5 minutes of examining everything, I got some Christmas coloured nail polish, Peppermint bark, a dozen candy canes, and a few other little things. We still had about 19 minutes until we could open our presents.

"Avery," Macy piped up after a few minutes of silence. "Hmmm?"

"What do you think I'll get?"

"I don't know, anything could happen. I can assure you you wont be disappointed, though." Before she had time to nod, my phone went off, indicating that it was 9:00.

"PRESENT TIME!"

The presents were all wrapped in Red, Green, Gold, and Silver. All of mine were red (my favorite colour), Macy's were Green, and Kyle's were gold. My parents were both in Silver.

Two hours later, I was playing on my new laptop. It was a lot better than my old one, so I was happy about that. Macy got the Barbie house she asked for, along with a few Barbies dressed in pink. Kyle got a new PS3 (he broke his other one), and a bunch of new games he asked for. All of us got a Wii U, too. Oh, and of course I got an iPhone. All that was left was Christmas dinner.

My aunt, Uncle, Grandma, Grandpa, cousins, and all of my other family members came over. We ate turkey, ham, stuffing, cranberry sauce, eggs, and much more. Needless to say, I was stuffed.

We played 'Just Dance' with our cousins Janie (she was 12), Quinn (she was 9), and Mason (he was 11). We all got along really well with them. Everyone left around 8:00, but by then, I was ready to go to bed. I got dressed in some new pajamas, and drifted to a very peaceful sleep.

Merry Christmas, but there's something I must confess; I kinda base the ideas in this story from my real life...don't get me wrong, I don't know an alien but just little things like activities they do. Just thought I should put that out there.
