They thought they were safe.

They should know very well by now that nothing is what it appears to be.

You seriously thought that Kai was the sender? Please. That dumb bitch was just my little worker bee. And Zach? My God, I can do so much better than that pervert. He watches girls changing clothes with binoculars. I cause destruction.

And don't say I'm exaggerating. I mean, look at what I've done to Serena, Jill, and Taylor.

In case you want a recap, let me go through it for you.

Serena- Wow, she's been through a lot since she got back from rehab. And her life seems to be getting much better. She's getting a closer bond with her mother, she's got a friend for life in Taylor (and probably Jill, who knows?),  and she's got a steady boyfriend in Theo. The only bump in the road? She's fragile. Combined with the realization that not everyone is how they seem to be and Chuck's attack on her, Serena's going crazy. She's this close to cracking. All she needs is one little push.

Jill- She started out as the queen bee, and now she's gradually getting dethroned. First, Theo dumped her for Serena. And secondly, she found out that Kai was smarter than anyone thought. Add in the fact that Jill's mother is still not being much of... well, a mother, and you have a recipe for an even more insane girl. There's so much that isn't in Jill's control. And you can tell that she's moments away from her breaking point because of it. Is it wrong that I want to see her crash and burn?

Taylor- Our good friend Taylor has gained a lot on this little journey. And that's not meant to be a snarky comment about her weight. She's got more confidence, and she's got Serena. But she's also lost a lot too. She's lost trust in almost everyone else around her. She doesn't trust anybody anymore, and broken trust is hard to get back. Taylor could really use a friend right now. And my little eyes see that Taylor is going to get a good friend very soon. This friend may not be one that anyone has in mind, but it is a friend nonetheless.

But who is truly friend and who is truly foe? You don't know, especially when you have someone like myself around.

Life's a game.

And sometimes, you have no choice but to play.

Good start to the creepiness, oui?

The book cover was made by @WritingAddictions, and I think it's wonderful! :)

Another cover (That I've sadly misplaced) was made by the fabulous @FairyTaleDisaster! Though I decided not to use it, I appreciate that she made it for me, and I think it's lovely. :)
