Chapter 5: Laila

Frick. What have I done? Now I have to get ready for this party! I better text Haylie. This is a girl emergency!

Laila: Haybae, come 2 my house rite now! Girl emergency!

Haylie: I'm already on my way, Laitex!

(Inside joke)

Laila: Don't call me that plz.

Haylie: Okay. Don't wanna get caught by police. Bye LaiPrincess!

Laila: Lol. Much better. I can't belive u still remember! Bye.

(Another inside joke) A few minutes later.....

Knock,knock! Haylie must be here now! I ran out of my room, down the stairs, and tripped at the end. Frick that really hurt!

"The door's open!" I yelled. Haylie came running to me. She helped me up off the floor but my ankle hurts a little. Haylie helps me over to the couch.

" Does your ankle hurt really bad?" Haylie asked.

" Not really bad but it does hurt a little. But I can still walk fine." I replied.

" I'll go get ice!" Haylie insists. She walked to the kitchen. Haylie is so helpful when you need help. I love her so much. She has been my bff ever since kindergarten. We have gotten through some hard times together, and really fun times together too. Haylie comes walking back in the living room concerned with a bag of ice for me. She places the ice on my right ankle.

" So, what's the girl problem?" Haylie questions.

" It's girl problem number 4." I answer. We have 10 girl problems all together numbered. Number 4 is Party Problem.

" Who's party are you worried about?" Haylie asked.

" Um, it's Tanner's party.It's beach themed. Your suppose to wear something you would wear to the beach. He asked me if I wanted to come. I said sure but, I need you there. You know, for guidance." I claimed.

" Girl of course I'll come. You really do need guidance. Did you even know he probably likes you?" she asked looking for answers.

" Haylie, guys like Tanner don't like girls like me. He's really popular and can basically have any girl he wanted. He wouldn't chose me. Kendra and Becca make fun of me all the time. I'm not too cool with the popular girls." I insisted.

" I'm telling you the truth. He so likes you! I'll help you get ready for this party tonight. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. Lets go upstairs. Right now!" Haylie demands. I get up and I go upstairs with Haylie. We get up the stairs and she stands in front of Krysten's room. Krysten is my older sister in grade 12. She is the basic popular girl in her grade. I'm wondering why we're standing outside her room.

"Um Haylie. Why are we outside Krysten's room?" I question Haylie.

" We're gunna take Krysten's gold necklace. It will look really pretty with the outfit I'm picking out for you!" Haylie exclaims.

'Haylie! Krysten said she will kill me if I ever touch her jewlery!" I yelled.

" She won't notice. Knowing her slutty self she won't be home tonight. She'll be at Jason's the whole night. No offense to her but, even she said everyone wants to get with her." Haylie explains.

" True. Fine, I'll go in. But, if I die I'm blaming you!" I agree. I opened her room door and walk in Krysten's room. She has fricking condoms everywhere! Trying to not mess anything up I grab her necklace off her makeup desk. I walk out.

"Did you get it?" Haylie wonders.

" Yes I did. There are condoms everywhere in her room! How do mom and dad let her have sex whenever she wants to? When my parents found out I lost my virginity to Brady at 15 they freaked out and grounded me for 3 months! F Krysten." I rant. My sister gets everything. We walk into my room and I sit on my fuzzy, pink desk chair while Haylie goes through my closet. Its been 4 minutes and she still hasn't picked anything out for me. I grab my phone and look at my texts.

Becca: Heard ur goin 2 Tanner's party,loser. He's hella mine! Why would he like a loser? C ya there bitch.

Tanner: Are you still coming to my party?

F Becca. But I can't believe Tanner is actually texting me! I got to reply.

Laila: Ya I'm still comin.

Tanner: Ok good. I really want you to come:)

Oh my god!!! I can't wait for this party! We keep texting for 4 more minutes and then I remembered that I was going to invite Rider to come too. I decide to text him.

Laila: Rider, wanna come 2 Tanner"s beach themed party with me and Haylie?

Rider: Sure. But y Haylie always with you?

Laila: Because she's my gurl. We always go 2 party's together. Anyways,u should bring Isabell. She really likes u. It would be her dream. Plz ask her.

Rider: Okay, I'll ask her. I'll c u there with or without Isabell. Bye Laitex.

Laila: Y do ppl keep calling me that? Whatever, bye.

I finish texting aand Haylie throws me and outfit to wear.

"Go and put this on! I think you'll look good in it!" Haylie insists.

"Okay. Just so you know we're going to meet Rider at the party." I tell Haylie.

"Okay whateves. Now go put the outfit on now!" She demands. I grab the outfit and go in my washroom. She picked out a dark blue. short, denim, mini skirt with a pretty, purple tank top. Then I put on the gold necklace of Krysten's. She also gave me a pair of pink flip flops. Haylie knows how to dress! I walk out of my bathroom and show Haylie the outfit.

" That outfit looks fabuous on you!" Haylie exclaims. I guess she found something to wear too. She's wearing my pink tube top with a pair of my really light blue, high waist, denim shorts. She's also wearing my pair of black sneakers.

"Now for our hair!" Haylie says excitedly. We go back inside my washroom and we get out the shampoo, conditioner, hair softener,hair dryer, hair straightner, and hair curler. We both wet our hair, shampoo and condition our hair, then rinse it out. We both put the hair softener in while our hair is still wet, then comb our hair out. We each take a turn useing the hair dryer. Then I do a fishtail braid to Haylie's hair. When I'm done with that Haylie straightens my hair and then curls it. It's now 5:50 and it's time that we leave to the party.

" We both look fabulisious!" Haylie exclaims

I reply " Thank you. Now, lets get to that party!" I hope this goes good.
