Kirari Momobami seated herself beside me on the couch in the student council meeting room. I glanced up from my phone. This is strange, I thought to myself. She was alone. Kirari was usually accompanied by her secretary, Sayaka Igarashi, or the Vice President.

I had only transferred to Hyakkaou Private Academy two months ago, and Kirari offered a position in the Student Council. My intuition told me this may not be the best idea, but what's the fun in not taking risks? Besides, I wanted to get closer to her. I'm drawn to her like a moth to a flame.

"Is there anything I can help you with, Miss?" I asked, hoping it wasn't going to be bad. In my last gamble, I almost lost. I adjusted my skirt and watched her face. Her blue eyes glinted in the sunlight as she observed my body language.

"I wanted to speak to you. It's nothing you should worry about." Kirari reassured. Relief coursed through my body. Until anxiety replaced it, even though she told me not to worry. If she didn't want to discuss my latest gamble, then what DID she want to talk about?

I placed my phone on the arm of the couch as I turned my body towards her. Kirari responded to this action by moving closer to me, uncomfortably close. But I didn't move away, all I wanted to do was close the space between us.

"Do you know why I offered a position on the Student Council to you?" She inquired. I didn't put much thought into why she offered it to me. I just assumed she thought that I was decent at gambling and the position was open. Mary Saotome had recently declined to join the student council. Kirari sat in on one of my first gambles when I transferred to the Academy and I won. She was watching me with an expression I couldn't decipher. The day after, Kirari called me into her office and I later joined the Student Council.

"Oh, I assumed it was for my gambling skills," I responded.

"That was part of the reason. The main reason is that you intrigue me. When something captures my attention, I keep it close." Kirari stated as she placed her right hand on my knee. My heart began to beat out of my chest as she moved her hand up and down my thigh. She smirked when she heard my faltered breathing. Kirari's hand slipped past the hem of my skirt.

"Oh, really?" I purred as I leaned in until I was just a few inches from her face. Where is this newfound confidence coming from? My right hand grasped her cheek lightly. Just as Kirari's hand was moving up further, the door clicked and opened.

Sayaka Igarashi bursts into the Student Council room. I reluctantly withdrew my hand from Kirari's face as she pulled away, while her hand lingered beneath my skirt. My tolerance for Sayaka is growing thin.

"Miss President! I apologize for interrupting, but there's a phone call waiting for you in your office." Sayaka blurted out. Kirari removed her hand and got up from the couch.

"We will continue this conversation later." She stated as she strode out of the Student Council room, with Sayaka trailing behind her.
