December 3, 20**

Clay and I were walking in the town, the beautiful lanterns and chritstmas lights making it joyful for the both of us and everyone around town. Unluckily for me though, I forgot to bring my sweater, and each time the wind hits my exposed skin I shiver, but I try to cover it as much as possible so that Clay won't notice.

Clay began to take off his sweater, and it caught me off guard and I was curios why he took off his sweater.

"Here, you can use my sweater" he handed the sweater to me and I began to put it on as fast as I could possibly can. "Was I THAT obvious?" I huffed in fake annoyance, but he just wheezed at my remarks.

"H- hey! What's so funny?" I was annoyed, most of it from not knowing what made him laugh hard, and part of it was from being clearly annoyed at the taller male beside me.

"N- noth- thing," he tried talking normally but he was wheezing so saying things normally was still hard.

He stopped wheezing and he was trying to breathe regularly now. When he was done he said to me "And by the way, that sweater looks better on you than it did me," I blushed, my face was red as a spicy hot chili. "T- thanks" I muttered under my breathe.

"No problem!" he smiled at me, and patted me on the head. It took me by surprise and my instinct kicked in, slapping his hand away from my head, but he just wheezed at me.

"Idiot, tell me when you do that kind of thing so I won't be surprised," but he wheezed harder, at this point he is either going to break his ribcage or he is going to run out of breath.

This is why I love him, and if only he know how much I loved him, then maybe I'll have the chance to be with him.

Clay stopped wheezing and we continued walking. We also had nice conversations, which were broken by his wheezes. 'Man, he does have a broken sense of humor, huh?' I thought.

"Hey Clay, uh, can we hang out again this Sunday?" I looked at him, but he wasn't paying attention, as if he was looking at something, or someone, that put him in a trance. That's when I saw it, or more precisely, her.

'But I watch your eyes
As she walks by'

I was feeling jealous at her, but I couldn't show it, even if it's not in the public. Being jealous is a stupid thing and it was my belief ever since I had my first ever crush. I'd rather see him happy than get in the way of his love interest.

Just then, I had an idea. A magnificent idea that would definetly make my suspicion come to light. I giggled and began to talk to Clay.

"Hey Clay~" I teased. "Do I see you staring at Heather~" he then blushed, his face red as it can get. "So it is true!" I exclaimed and prepared to tease him again. "Clay's got a girlfriend~" I repeated over and over again until he smacked me in the head.

"Ow," I fakely cried at Clay, and then I laughed at him again for being so gullible.

"F-fine, I do have a crush on Heather," my heart broke at the words of Clay, but I laughed and said " I knew it!" to hide the fact that my heart broke. I was done laughing and wiped my fake happy tears.
He was looking where Heather went, completely mesmerized by her, no matter what I did to get his attention.

'She's got you mesmerized,
While I... die'
